"You remember?" asked Applejack. "Thank Celestia. It'll be nice to have a friendly face that knows me," she was extremely relieved. This also meant she didn't have to break up with Rarity. "An' be positive, Rarity. How do you know that you need diapers? Have you had an accident yet? I haven't, an' I don't plan to. Maybe the fillies these bodies were yesterday needed them, but that doesn't mean we do."

There was something else bothering her, on the other hoof. It may have been the heat talking, but Rarity was hot. Like, distractingly hot. Mind-bogglingly hot. Like, so hot that Applejack wanted Rarity to knock her to the ground and rut her senseless. Just looking at her friend was very distracting. She didn't realize she had started to stare, consumed by images that she didn't want flashing through her head.

I'm not a filly-fooler, a voice in her head tried to remind her. Knock it off. Rarity, stop being so damn attractive.

"Well for starters, I woke up in a wet diaper. Then apparently I wet myself during breakfast. I can't stand needing these things but it's a necessary evil. That's not even the worst part Applejack. Apparently I live with Sweetie Belle and her fiance Pipsqueak because our parents aren't alive anymore. I....haven't even seen my parents in a month. I feel awful Applejack." Rarity said, the weight of her parents' passing finally setting down on her.

She looked at Applejack through her teary eyes and saw an adorable filly. More than that, and attractive mare. Get it together Rarity. No need for things like that. Though Applejack would certainly be a suitable mate... She got herself distracted before thinking about her parents again. Her tears poured out.

"Apparently? Well there's one way to tell if you did wet yourself or not, Rarity." Applejack was trying to lighten the mood, but Rarity's fanticnessand her aching privates were both doing their best to bring her down.

"I'm so sorry," she said when Rarity mentioned her parents. "I had no idea." She wanted to comfort Rarity, but she didn't think that anything she could say would actually help. "Can I.. I mean, is there anything I can do?" .

Rarity didn't say anything. She was crying and that's all she could think about. She had sat down in front Applejack and buried her face in the only familiar pony she had left. "How am I supposed to live like this Applejack? I mean this is a nightmare world. I can't even begin to imagine what's changed for you..." Rarity said, her tears starting to dry up a bit. A lady wasn't supposed to cry in public. "I mean, if I lost my parents in this world one could only imagine what you've lost."

Too many voices were bouncing around in Applejack's head, and they all wanted her to do different things. She wanted to counsel Rarity, to reassure her that everything would be okay, but that would be a lie. Another voice told her to promise Rarity they would fix things, but that was a promise she couldn't keep, and one that she wasn't sure she wanted to. And she couldn't tell Rarity about her new life, since that wouldn't cheer her up. The last voice was the voice from her heat, urging her to use Rarity's vulnerable state to kiss her, but she was quick to shut that one up.

It was too many voices, and there wasn't enough room left for her to think, and that irritated her. And then Rarity grabbed her, and the physical contact sparked a flush from her body. Se shivered and pulled away. "Don't touch me!" She screamed. All things considered, it might not have been the best thing for her to do.

Rarity looked up with puffy eyes, trying to wipe enough away to see clearly. "A-A-Applejack.... what did I do? Please don't tell me you're hurt or something." Rarity asked, immediately switching modes. The element of generosity was alive and well inside her. "Please don't tell me that somepony hit you this morning!" Being as Applejack was the only thing from her previous life left to her, she didn't want to lose her. "Please tell me Applejack, I'm scared..."

Rarity's accusations managed to break through Applejack's wall of tumult. "What? No. No one hit me, Rarity. How could you say that? You know my family. You know my family would never do anything like that. Ever." Applejack knew she wasn't thinking straight, but it didn't occur to her that with everything that changed, her family could have changed too. She was just downright insulted.

And Rarity was still making her feel funny. She couldn't be around Rarity without thinking about her needs, and she resented her for it. She wanted so desperately to make some sort of pass, but now she wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. "What is wrong with you?" she asked, taking her anger out.

"What is wrong with me? What is wrong with you?!" Rarity said, her eyes starting to tear up a bit once more. "You have been nothing but....but... you're not even acting like Applejack! Where's the Applejack I knew who would be there to comfort her friend no matter what the issue was? Where's the Applejack who was honest with her friends? What's different in this world for you huh? TELL ME!" Rarity was throwing a slight hissy fit, but she was also upset. Normally Applejack would be one of the first shoulders any of their friends could cry on and now she was being shoved away in disgust.

Applejack wanted to scream back, but she couldn't think of a coherent response. Her thoughts were too jumbled, and the single voice of reason she still had was reminding her that Rarity was right. She didn't like that voice and wanted it to shut up. She wanted Rarity to go away. She wanted to stop looking at Rarity so she'd stop being tempted, so she wouldn't give in when she'd fought for so long. She felt tense, on edge, her nerves were frayed and she couldn't help it. She want to punch something. She wanted to kiss something. She wanted to get rid of everything that was making her drown. But she was trapped, frozen and suffocating. She stood there, looking like she was choking, not knowing what to say. She didn't feel her bladder release, the urine pooling at the seat of her diaper.

Rarity looked with disgust at her friend. "Well, if you want to apologize then I will allow you to do so. Until then, good day to you Applejack." Rarity said, turning her back and attempting to walk into the school. She tripped several times, finally making it into the school house with plenty of dirt in her mane and her coat.
