A Magical Role-Reversal! (Private w/Neran)

“I told you…. I really don’t need them, please…”

In the midst of the woods, a mother and daughter walked on a small path that served as a shortcut from their home towards the main commercial districts of the town. Aside from them, there didn’t seem to be anybody aside from the duo, surrounded by countless trees.

The short, white-haired girl, Shina, was… to say the least, a ‘little’ bit upset. As she walked with her mother, she was constantly trying to get her attention, pressing herself against her and tugging at her clothes as if she was going to die… Though in her mind, what she was going to be subject to was no different, judging by the panicked expression on her face.

…The cause?

“It was just a little accident…!” Shina whined as she seemed to be on the verge of tears, all while her mother walked seemingly unfazed. “I-I can’t wear diapers when I just got into middle school! Please, I can wash my sheets myself!!”

Her mother, Maya, sighed as she walked through the forest with her. When she found out about her daughter’s accidents she knew what she had to do. Buying her daughter diapers wasn’t something she wanted to do, but this was the only option. “I’m sorry sweetie, but-“

She was cut off by a glow appearing in front of them, with a white haired… fairy? Flying around them. “Maya! You have been chosen to hold this power in order to bring order to this world!” She said before Maya and Shina were engulfed in a light.

“You can’t do that…” Shina slowly stammered with a whine, shaking her head - though thankfully (or not?), her voice was quickly cut off as a small creature suddenly darted into them, quickly derailing her train of thought. It was something that she’d never thought she’d ever see, let alone hear from

“What are you!?” The presence of the fairy was so sudden she wasn’t sure if it was her imagination or not, but the strange warmth that accompanied the light felt very real. Her mind felt… different. She wasn’t sure what it was, but it felt lighter, more… knowledgable? That can’t be right, can it?

“Imbued with each other’s strengths, you shall be the virtue of innocence against the forces that lay beyond…” She could just barely make out a small whisper from the fairy like creature, before the white glow receded as she frantically looked around, having no trace of whatever happened except…

“M-Mom, are you okay!?” The girl quickly walked to her mother’s side, who seemed to also have been impacted, before looking in confusion at her sight upon her realisation “…Mom?”

Her mother was unable to object to what was happening before she looked at what she was wearing. Her surroundings looked… brighter, like she was now more interested in the world around her. More curious and more… vulnerable.

“Hey!” She whined as she looked at her bright green frilly dress that exposed her underwear. Her underwear in this case being a… diaper. She fell to her rear as she was now wearing mittens and booties. They were green, as well as the bow in her hair. “What’s going on!!” She complained… almost childishly. Shina would also notice she now had a green duffle bag.

“Eh?” The young girl looked her mother’s new… state, and couldn’t help but giggle as she looked around at the new clothes and attire she was in “Woah, what’s this cute dress doing here?” Shina said as she felt the fabric of the frilly dress. Just what on earth did that fairy… thing, do? She looked down at ber own waist and noticed that she seemed to be carrying a similarly designed green bag - opening it… were those diapers and sippy cups? And a changing mat…?

Really, her mother looked countless years younger here, almost like a walking adult baby! “Wow, Mom, I didn’t know you’re…” She muttered, before breaking down into a mischevious giggle again as she noticed the thick diaper around Mana’s waist, which felt very ironic at the moment given what they were originally going to buy for herself. “Ehe, I guess we’ll have to make a trip back home?” - Perfect excuse to not head over to the store

Maya couldn’t believe what happened as she fell to her diapered rear. She was suddenly looking to Shina for guidance and couldn’t help but nod as she used her daughter to get up. “Y-yeah.” She said nervously, not being sure of anything at this point.

“Why are these so thick?” She grumbled as she tried to get used to them. As Shina would look through the bag, she would also notice a letter from the… fairy… best to keep it private until she had some alone time. Seemed her mother needed her help more then anything.

“Woah, you look like one of those magical girls um, anime stuff!” Shina remarked with a glint in her eyes, hardly comprehending what she was seeing in front of her. Really, seeing her own mother like this…? “But, ehe, a little more like a baby… is that a diaper?” Her daughter asked as they stood up, looking around. At least there was nobody around for now…

She didn’t think she’d say this, but… “You’re super cute, you know! I’d always dreamt about how the clothes would feel like…” Shina said as they began walking back where they came from. “Can yoh take them off or not?”

[Neran]

Maya also felt that her skin was softer for some reason. She pouted as she glared at her. “I’m not a baby!” She protested in annoyance. “I’m your mommy and decide what we do! And I decide we go home!” Even though they were already doing that. She wanted to feel like she was in charge somehow. She blushed at the questions and nodded. “They’re a bit… comfy..”

“Er, that’s what I said…” Her daughter was a little caught off guard, really, especially with how… childish her mother seemed to be acting? “Well, anyways, there’s a note here… I’ll read it when we get back. Again, um, can you take those things off? You don’t need diapers, right…?”

Maya didn’t notice how childishly she reacted before she tried to rip the clothes off. However, because of the mittens she wasn’t able to get a good grip on anything. “No…” She said as she looked down in embarrassment.
