It had already been more than a month since Selina moved into Wayne Manor after being invited to by Bruce and she had wasted absolutely no time making herself right at home, so much so that she had elected to stay home nights while Bruce went off to do what he did best, slip into and become the night. Selina for her part hadn’t much the urge to go out and cause mayhem either alongside hi or against him if she was feeling especially feisty. No, tonight the thief would be taking on a much more relaxed role, that of a woman intending to watch a whole host of movies during a night off.

Selina had entered the kitchen of Wayne Manor in hopes of finding something to pair well with her little idea of the night looking for the obvious one, Popcorn. Which in no time at all she had found and had sent it straight into the microwave to begin the process of popping. “That was easy enough.” She thought to herself leaving the kitchen for a brief moment to inspect the area where the movie watching would be happening, the spacious living room with a television setup that was more than large and ideal for her. The shelves next to the tv was lined with rows and rows of movies from which Selina was sure she’d be able to find something fun to watch. It had seemed in tip top shape, though she expected nothing less with Alfred on the job. Selina popped back into the kitchen after surveying the movie watching area just in time to hear the popcorn pop to completion. While preparing to take it out of the microwave a thought crossed her mind about someone, the other alone occupant of the Manor tonight, Damian Wayne. The youngest of the Wayne household had been barred from patrol until further notice and that fact certainly hadn’t helped Selina in building any type of relationship with him, civil or otherwise. He had barely acknowledged her when she first moved in and not much had changed since then but tonight she felt especially determined to try and change that and watching a movie seemingly given her the perfect excuse to invite him out of his room. “Who knows. I might just get him to come out.” Selina thought told herself in a looking back popcorn still in the microwave for only a moment before making her way back through the house and into its halls, only stopping when arriving at the youngests bedroom door giving it a a few light taps before speaking. Damian. I was going to watch a movie tonight and wondered if you wanted to join me?” She asks waiting for a few seconds before continuing on. “I’ve got popcorn and It shouldn’t be too hard to find something more like soda and more snacks.” She finished off hoping that the mention of snacks and drinks along with a movie would be enough to entice him out of his room and into watching a movie with her in hopes of forming some kind of bond with him, she’d be living here indefinitely so she was going to try at least.

Damian was already in a pretty bad mood. He wanted to join his dad Bruce on patrol nights but was strictly forbidden. His brothers Jason, Tim, and even Dick took his place instead. Damian was in his room pouting and thinking of ways to sneak out and go on his own patrol and maybe even run into Bruce and his brothers. He was startled a bit by Selina knocking on his door and inviting him to watch a movie. "I guess I shall, given that father's awful decision has left me with absolutely nothing to do." He said in a defeated, angry tone. He didn't dislike or hate Selina, he found her to be quite kind despite being a thief. The boy severely struggled showing any sort of affection or emotion that wasn't bitterness, hatred, and plenty of other negative things.


Damien got up and followed Selina to the kitchen, not uttering a single sound. He watched as she finished making their snacks and drinks. Then he helped carry them over to the couch. Instead of kicking back on the couch like Selina was, he sat up straight, waiting for the movie to start to enjoy his snacks. However, little did Damian know, this movie would give Selina an idea on how the two could actually bond. He also didn't know that this would be the thing that breaks him and gets him to open up and be more kind towards others. He kept silent as he ate his popcorn.

Selina had fully expected the young Wayne to remain silent or worse, spit a few harsh words her way through the door for even asking if he’d like to spend time together watching a movie to her surprise though she did get a response, one that she hadn’t been expecting, a resigned yes. Once he had emerged from the room she began the walk back into the kitchen, the bar brat following along behind her. “I’m glad you agreed to join me. I don’t think I’d be able to eat all this junk by myself.” She joked lightly going about the kitchen getting not only the popcorn prepared but the drinks and other snacks as well. A night that had started out with the thief alone was turning into something more and she couldn’t be happier about it. Snacks and drinks in hand Selina made her way back into the living room, setting the drinks and other goodies down Selina smiled at the boy before turning towards the TV, finally ready to pick something for the two to watch from amongst the shelves filled with all manner of movies. “I have to admit something to you, Damian.” She finally spoke to him while leaning down looking through the collection. “I forgot to pick out a movie before inviting you to watch one with me. With that admission out of the way she spent another few minutes picking something out, finally settling on an animated movie that the cover kind of peaked her interest, especially for some bonding time between the two.

“Ah-ha. Let’s see if you’ll like this one.” She said out loud putting the movie on before taking her seat on the couch near the angry little man. Helping herself to some popcorn and soda she sat back as the movie played on. “You know he kinda looks like you.” Selina commented on a joking manner upon seeing the boss baby character on screen in his suit and tie. As the movie played on Selina kept glancing at Damian then back at the boss baby character, the movie giving her somewhat of an idea on how to bond with him and potentially get him to open up to her and this started with a baby step, as it were, which was the woman scooting just a bit closer to him. “After this I’ll let you pick the movie of you want?” She offered reaching out from her much closer position on the couch to ruffle the young boys hair. He seemed like such a little adult at all times but just like the signature character in the movie there was a layer underneath that she hoped would be shown to her the more time the two spent together, tonight was a good start. “What do you think about doing more stuff together?” She finally asked her gaze shifting from the television and o to Damián.

Damian remained mostly silent as she picked the movie. He kept a proper posture and was as stiff as a board mostly. He gave her a dirty look as he heard her compare him to the boss baby. "Silence, thief! I look nothing like that infant, and I shall not be compared to one!" He snapped. He began to somewhat enjoy the movie as it progressed. The boy did flinch and look a bit angry and frightened as his hair was ruffled suddenly. Damian blushed as he felt Selina scoot closer to her, as he wasn't used to this affection, nor was he one to show it. "Ever since father prevented me from going on patrol with him, I guess I have nothing better to do." He said, answering her questions. Damian had no clue what Selnias plans would be after the movie finished.

Selina tried her best but she couldn’t help but giggle seeing just how angry the comparison to the boss baby had made him and she smiled in the face of his dirty look, finding him to be just adorable especially the angrier he seemed to get. “Aw come on, Boss baby. I still think you’re sophisticated I just mean you don’t /have/ to stay as a little adult right now and definitely not around me.” She spoke softly trying to quell the rage that sat just beneath the surface and with the two now sitting side by side Selina watched the boy carefully, noticing his he eventually got into the movie and it was then that she decided to be a bit bold, which she hoped wouldn’t land her with an attack from the angry tyke. She reached over Damians should before slowly pulling him to her, just enough so that he was practically laying against her. “Since you and I will be spending more time together I was thinking…” she stopped for a moment, trying to mentally prepare herself for what she was about to propose to the Bat boy. “What if instead of being boss Baby you take out the boss part. It would just be when you and I are alone together?” She offered holding him close and not caring how he would be feeling about it. “It must be so exhausting having to be the mature one in the family.” She continued trying to appeal to his ego about being mature and more of an adult.

The movie continued on with Selina periodically offering the boy a popcorn or a piece of candy from the pile she had formed when looking For other things to snack on during the movie. Once the movie was coming to a close and the credits started to roll Selina looked back to the little bird, a gentle smile on her face. “I think it would be good for you and I would be with you every step of the way. If you’re comfortable enough we could even go out to a store right now to look for what we needed?” Selina offered once more almost speaking as if him agreeing was a done deal, even if she hadn’t actually gotten an answer yet.

Damian's face turned red but he couldn't help but be soothed by her soft sweet voice. He stiffened up more and flinched at first when she pulled him but eventually relaxed. Her words echoed and replayed in his head endlessly. No being a little adult? No being mature? Having someone else take care of you? They all appealed to Damian in every way. He didn't see any downsides to this experience at all. The boy even ate what Selina fed him without hesitating. "Um... Yes I would be interested in... That treatment. I think the best course of action would be to go shopping for the needed and necessary supplies. You have a point when you say this might be good for me." Damian replied, looking up at Selina.

She found the blush that took over the boys cheeks to be adorable and had the urge to pinch them to make that feeling of hers known and yet, she decided perhaps that would push him back over to the side of not wanting to do their little baby experiment so in the end she didn’t and only gave his head a gentle little pat in an effort to reassure him. When he finally responded and to her surprise actually agreed to it Selina pulled him into a hug completely, almost grateful that her suggestion wasn’t merely brushed off. “I know it’ll be good you, just wait and see.” She reassured him giving a nod at his confirmation that they could in fact go shopping tonight. “Going out already? This is a huge step.” Selina thought to her before turning back to look down at Damian. “Okay then shopping time it is.” He concluded before reaching down and gently taking the boys hand in herd having him stand from the couch with her. “Hmmm. Are you all set to go now?” She questioned giving his hand a little squeeze, another idea popping into her head at that moment. “If you wanted to I could carry you to the car?” She offered only half jokingly just to see how far along she could take this even before they got the necessary items to turn him from demon brat to diapered baby.

Damian's blush did not fade in the slightest. All of Selina's affection only seemed to make it worse. However Damian started to not mind it, as he enjoyed the affection. She had a very soft soothing and sweet voice which helped Damian relax. "Then it looks like we are going shopping." He said. The boy looked up at Selina with wide eyes as he heard her question. A slight smile managed to sneak it's way onto his face. One would be able to tell just by looking in his eyes that he was discovering and maybe even slipping into little space. "I b...believe j would enjoy that. You may c..carry me to the car, Selina." He stuttered.

Selina had to admit that she was actually enjoying this far more than she had anticipated, especially with just easy it was to make the little demon brat blush, which only made him more adorable in her eyes. “Yup. Looks like we’re going shopping for you, Boss baby.” She teased giving his cheeks an affectionate little pinch and once he stuttered out a response to her offer Selina wasted no tine in reaching down and scooping him up into her arms, purposely holding him with one arm supporting his back and another under his soon to be pampered bottom. “You look tiny but you’re a heavy baby.” She teased having her bag already slung over her shoulder she made her way through the manor and down into the garage to see a car already waiting for their late night outing. “Alfred has ears around the whole house, huh?” She asked more to herself than the boy in her arms. In no time at all she had the Wayne boy in the car and buckled up, putting him in the back seat as opposed to the front, another way to show him that he was now the baby instead of the little adult he told everyone that he was.

Getting into the driver seat it took Selina less than a minute and the two were on the road, on the way to the store where Selina was determined to turn the demon into something else, a sweet little guy. “Are you sure you’re okay with this?” She finally asked right as they pulled into the parking lot of the 24 hour store. Pulling into a parking spot close to the entrance she stepped out the car before retrieving her new charge out from the backseat, holding him in much the same way that she had at home. “Now. I think we might need a cart for your stuff, little man.” She told him after locking the car up and stepping into the store finding a cart and without even asking she placed him into the little front seat provided for the toddlers to sit. “Wow! You’re a perfect fit. No wonder you’d make a good little one.” Chuckling at her own joke Selina started off down the isles of the stores. “So. What do you want first?” She asked trying to embarrass him once again.

Damian slowly returned the affection Selina was giving him. Even if it was in the form of a very awkward hug. His blush did not fade due to Selina's teasing, but he didn't mind. "I...I am certain that I want this." He said. He held onto Selina firmly as she carried him, gently resting his head on her shoulder. The boy didn't even fuss as he was buckled into the back seat, and he quite enjoyed this treatment. As they finally made it to the store he was shocked to find he actually fit in the toddler seat in the shopping cart. "Um..maybe we should make our way to the...pacifiers? I believe diapers will take us a while to look at.. but we can start an..anywhere I'd you'd like, ma'am." He stuttered. Damian gently kicked his legs and looked around at his surroundings.
