The world of Telyr... A land of magic that brings awe to all those who see its wonders.
For 300 years, the people of Telyr had suffered under the rule of an evil known only as The Nightmare. He wore armor made out of darkness itself. His eyes burned red with fiery hatred... They say that those who saw his face turned into dust just from looking at his hideousness.
Rebellions had been crushed under the might of his armies of Shadow Beings... All hope seemed lost... That was when the three legendary warriors arrived.
Two Humans, one elf... They carried weapons that could destroy the Nightmares armies in one blow... They managed to fight through to his palace, where they summoned an orb of light, and imprisoned the Nightmare and all his servants in it.
Peace has graced Telyr for the past 100 years, thanks to the bravery of the three individuals who imprisoned the Nightmare in the orb of light... Times have changed, though...
The Nightmare has returned to Telyr, thanks to some bumbling idiot who decided to steal and break the orb of light that held him prisoner... in the province of Jazere, he sits on his throne, plotting the downfall of all kingdoms of Telyr... But first, he must take care of the reincarnations of the Legendary Warriors who defeated him...

Three travelers... Two Humans, one Elf... They were the reincarnations... While they slept, the Nightmare sent his most trusted servant, Fear, into their dreams... After defeating them in their dreams, Fear cast a curse on them. They lost the strength that they had been given from their past lives, and their magical ability would be drained. In addition, they lost all control over their bodily functions, and two of them would regress after one day had passed as extra precaution...
The three would have to find someone or something that could reverse their curse, or else they would never be able to fulfill the task of defeating The Nightmare.
