Jacob was a bit confused now. he didn't know about gardevoir's desire to take care of him in someway, so the proclamation by her that she thought he needed care was out of left field. thus, a rather unintelligent sounding "huh?" was his response.

"oh.." jacob said in dawning realization. it was true he'd more or less raised gardevoir since she was a ralts, but..he'd never thought much of it. though from the sincerity of her words, Gardevoir surely did. he had to think to himself for a second. on one hand, he knew he didn't have an accident. but..on the other, gardevoir seemed..almost happy at the prospect of having a chance to care for him as he did for her. so with a blush, he nodded. "o-ok, gardevoir.."

jacob blushed again. "i suppose so. there's a town closeby though. so, we can just go and get some there. along with anything else you'd think we need for this." he said, pulling out his map and looking at it. indeed, there was a town nearby. "yeah, there's one right over the next hill. strange name though..it's called New youth ridge." he said shrugging.
