Naruto looked away for a bit as he continued on saying, "I know that this is what I want but I really underestimated just how hard this really is, kinda makes me envy being you in a way" Naruto said stunned at himself for actually saying that last bit

Konohamaru looked at Naruto surprised. Naruto had always been the coolest Ninja he had known. It was confronting to see his hero in such a vulnerable way.

"Huh. I was always jealous of you. I think being a ninja would be super cool. I'm sure I could handle it." Konohamaru said confidently.

He sat in silence for a bit before he had a fantastic idea. "Hey! What about if we swapped places for a bit? I could try being a ninja and you could have fun doing easy academy stuff."

Naruto was a bit surprised at Konohamaru offering that and said, "Are you sure about this Konohamaru, it's gonna be tough being a ninja" And while he was a bit worried a little part of him wanted at that moment to call Konohamaru his boss...

"Ha! I'm sure I can handle it. I didn't get the Shadow Clone Jutsu, but I'm super good at all the other stuff." He said. In truth, Konohamaru had no idea whether or not he could handle it, but on the other hand, he also wasn't lying about being a talented ninja. He was a Sarutobi after all.

"Anyway" He continued, "Don't you want some time off? Oh! You could even do my academy work for me. It's really easy, so you should be able to relax."

Konohamaru was grinning at this point. This was everything he'd ever wanted. He got to be a real ninja, not go to the academy and be in charge of Naruto. This was the best idea ever!

(Still unsure about how to start the babying part. We can still wait a while, but I was thinking that while Naruto is relaxing, he could have an accident and then Konohamaru puts him in diapers. Let me know what you think.)

Naruto smiled at hearing that and said, "Well if you're up for this then I guess there's only one thing to do" Naruto then smirked as he took off his headband and offered it to Konohamaru saying, "If you're gonna be the ninja then you need the headband and I need the goggles Boss" Naruto said blushing a bit as him calling Konohamaru boss came out almost naturally to him

Konohamaru's eyes went wide. "Wow. Really Boss? I get your headband?.... I mean... Thank you Naruto. Give your boss his headband." He said, passing his own goggles over to Naruto.

He had to chuckle a bit. He sounded funny being assertive and bossing people around. Being in charge of Naruto was fun!

Naruto smiled as he took the goggles and put them on his head before watching Konohamaru put his headband on

He couldn't help but giggle a bit as he got used to his new place and said, "What do you wanna do Boss?" Again blushing a little at calling him Boss so naturally

Konohamaru giggled again. "You totally look like an acdemy student with those goggles on"he said loudly. He quickly looked around to make sure nobody was looking. There were some people around, but none were paying attention.

Konohamaru thought for a while. He had never been in charge before and he wasn't sure what to do.

"Meet me at my house in like half an hour. I'll get all my toys and academy stuff for you to play with, and you bring all your ninja stuff so I can start practising and getting stronger." He began heading off, back towards town. "Come on Naruto, I don't wanna have to wait." He said, chidingly.

"Got it Boss!" Naruto called back after him and quickly hurried to his apartment to pack up all of his ninja gear, and once he was sure he got everything quickly hurried over to where Konohamaru lived so that he could give this to him

(Sorry about that, had to dash off for a bit)

Konohamaru hurried off himself towards his own house. His house was empty for the most part and he was allowed to live on his own. There was always a couple jonin keeping watch around it and senior ninja would come around each evening to make sure everything was okay and to restock any groceries. It was quite the cushy life style.

Once he was home, Konohamaru began digging through his old stuff, for things to give to Naruto. He had a bunch of stuffed toys and all the other usual stuff, like building blocks, toy cars, action figures and toy ninja gear. He had to admit, he was a little sentimental giving away his toys, but he was a big ninja now, and he was sure Naruto would enjoy them.

He also dug through all his academy stuff. Lots of books on shapes, colours, counting and spelling as well as plenty of colouring books, stories and books on basic ninja stuff.

While searching he also stumbled across a box labelled "Kono's baby stuff". He didn't think too much about it. Babies were lame and kind of gross to Konohamaru.
