Naruto on the other hand was completely unaware of this and happily entered his new classroom smiling at the childish and colorful designs of the classroom

The classroom was indeed childish and colourful. Children's paintings, cartoon characters, posters with letters and numbers and many other thing covered the walls. There were plenty of desks and chairs, spread throughout the room, and a large desk up the front for the teacher. Over to one side, there was a carpet play area with lots of toys, books and games.

The other students were also spread throughout the room, chatting happily amongst each other, drawing or playing with toys. There was still a few minutes before class was meant to start.

Meanwhile, Konohamaru was leaving the academy and heading into town. He had grabbed all his pocket money and was ready to go shopping for some clothes for Naruto before his ninja missions.

At this point, Miss Nanako entered the room. A petite woman, somewhere in her thirties with shoulder length brown hair and a warm, friendly smile. She looked around the room, aware that she had a new student coming today. She eventually spotted the new student, Boruto, playing on the ground. She had his paperwork in-hand, but didn't know much else about him. She had heard he was somehow related to Naruto Uzumaki, but wasn't quite sure exactly how.

She went over to where Boruto was playing and knelt down next to him. "Hi there Boruto. My name's Miss Nanako. What are you doing there?" She said, trying to strike up conversation with the boy.

Miss Nanako smiled watching the boy play. He seemed like a perfectly well adjusted boy, and polite as well. Miss Nanako had been a bit worried that he would be like a younger Naruto, causing trouble and acting out for attention.

"That's very good Boruto. I hope you enjoy being in here in my class and I'm sure you'll make plenty of friends." She said, getting back up. "Oh. And one more thing. You make sure to come tell me if there's anything you need, okay?" Giving him a warm smile. She had read Boruto was 'still learning' potty training, and she just wanted to make sure he knew that he should go to her.

With that, Miss Nanako went up to the front of the class, to begin settling everyone down. "Alright class. Everyone take your seats. Settle down now."

"Okay Miss Nanako" Boruto said and put his toys away before sitting down on an empty seat after the rest of the class took their seats...

Miss Nanako smiled down at all her students as they took their seats. She wasn't much of a ninja herself, but she prided herself in teaching the ninjas of tomorrow. "Good Morning everyone." She said in a sing-song voice. "I hope you all had a good weekend. Now in a minute, we'll be going over our spelling words, but first I have an announcement."

"Today we have a new student with us." All the other children in the class began looking around, trying to spot the new student or whispering amongst themselves. "His name is Boruto and he'll be in this class for the remainder of the year."

She looked down, directly addressing Boruto now. "Would you like to stand up and tell us about yourself?"

Boruto stood up and said, "Well, I'm originally from out of this village, my favorite food is ramen and if you're wondering how I got here, my parents had me room with someone who had an available room so I could go here!" before sitting back down in his seat and getting out the spelling book

The other students murmured as they listened to Boruto's introduction. The Hidden Leaf village was not enormous, so new people always brought excitement, especially one they didn't know too much about.

Miss Nanako nodded as Boruto ended his introduction. "Thank you Boruto. I'm sure you'll fit in just fine here." Turning back to the rest of the class she continued. "I expect everyone to be nice and friendly to Boruto, okay. I'm sure you're all aware, but if I find that anyone has been picking on Boruto, they will be going straight to time out. Or if they break any other rules for that matter." She said, getting serious for a moment, causing the class to quiet down.

Miss Nanako quickly smiled again. "Okay everyone, take out your spelling books and start working on page 35."
