Mia smirked as she looked at the pouting face of Laurel, "what's the matter, you wanna sit in the front like a big girl, well i guess you can as long as you promise to behave." she said giving the girl a little wink as she walked her over to the passenger side of the car and opened it for her, watching her gleefully climb in and buckle her seat belt. "Good girl, can't have my little girl being in any danger now can i?" she said with a smile as she pecked the girl's cheek real quick before she closed the door and moved over to the driver's side to get in herself. Once she was all situated she looked over at the girl sitting next to her and smiled "well are you ready to get our date started?"

Something in Laurel really must have changed during her time as Mia's baby slave, maybe that Stockholm syndrome or something, because she could not believe how ecstatic she felt at simply being allowed into the front seat. She smiled at Mia next to her like a kid on Christmas and said "Uh huh! I can't wait to go on a real date, it's been so long." She tried to stay in place and compose herself like any other adult, but in reality she was squirming and fidgeting and fussing like a little kid going on their first field trip.

"Well I bet it has been, but no need to be all fidgety, relax be yourself." she said with a smile as she turned the key in the ignition to start the car, "now just behave yourself like a good girl and maybe you will get a nice reward when we get home sweety." she said as she pulled out of the driveway, "now what do you feel like eating?" she said, "oh and pick somewhere nice after all we didn't get all dressed up for nothing now did we?" she said as she headed towards town, it was a little ways off giving Laurel a few minutes to think over what she was in the mood for before they got close to anything.

"Ok." Laurel acquiesced bashfully, smiling as she knew that was probably the best course of action. This picking dinner idea was tough though as she was used to a tight budget and therein a cheap diet that consisted of good diners and takeout rather than the nice places Mia was used to. After a while she suddenly had an idea and suggested "How about Bartaco? I went there for drinks once but I could never have afforded a real meal. That's the place with the modern gourmet style tacos and stuff. Plus the margaritas are delish!" She beamed at Mia with an excited smile as she felt like a real equal for once rather than simply a big helpless baby.
