A new dawn for a sad fawn.

"I've got something that would be slightly more appropriate" Matt says as he goes to his closet then returns with a pretty thin cotton jacket that he wraps around Lily, then as he helps her stand up while holding her hand so she can put pressure on his hand instead of trying to put it all on her injured leg, she can notice how much further down past her shirt the jacket goes, nearly reaching her shins. "It may look like a trench coat, but if anything it will work like a dress or long jacket so your diaper will be hidden, trust me. Though I'm not sure I want you to walk around out there, please let me carry you, or at least let me be a crutch or hold you once you are tired or feel hurt" he requests.

(If you don't mind i think this would be a good time to build relationship between the two while on the trail like her legs gives way, doesn't break, but gives so much pain that she falls down and unfortunately falls in the river and matt saves her :3)

(I do mind XD I'm all for building relationships between characters, but I'm not going to dump her in a lake randomly to do it. X3)

Lily thanks Matt for the jacket, though she could have cared less if it covered the diaper or not, they were in the middle of nowhere so who was going to see it anyway. She takes hold of her cane and slowly gets to her feet, putting all of her weight on her good leg and the cane. "I think I'll be alright on my own for a little bit, I'll tell you if I need your help, which I probably will end up doing." She ends up finishing with a giggle.

"Well Lily go take a seat on the couch for me, and I'm going to pack a backpack with water and snacks in case we end up needing one or the other" He says then heads to the kitchen.

While he packs water bottles and some packs of crackers he begins to worry that maybe his new friend might not hold up well outside in the woods. He knows that if anything were to happen or started to go wrong, he would protect the girl no matter what and make sure that she stayed safe. Even if she was a stranger, she was his friend, and that was good enough for him.

"Yes sir." The fawn replies with a smile as she makes her way out of the bedroom and back to the living room. She flops down on the couch, which felt even more padded given what she was wearing under her shirt and jacket, and leaned back into it, relaxing a bit. While she was waiting a magazine sitting on the coffee table caught her eye. Upon taking it and looking at the cover she was surprised, yet also not, to find it was babyfur magazine, or a catalog of some sort. The furries on the cover were clad in adult sized baby clothes and accessories, and obviously having fun. As she began to flip through the pages she couldn't help but wonder if this was Matt's magazine, or one his friend left behind.

Matt took a short time in packing a backpack and put it on his back as he walked into the living room looking at Lily. It took him a second to realize what she was holding and raised an eyebrow confused wondering where she got the magazine then remembered how he left it on his table for times where he missed his old friend. Honestly it was for his own pleasure at the same time, more so than to think about his dear friend that he missed. "find something you like?" he asks with a grin standing behind the couch.

Lily didn't realize Matt had walked in, and resumed her reading/looking of the magazine until he spoke. She swivels her head so she could see him somewhat, and chuckles at his question. "Oh yeah, just order me one of everything." She says in a joking tone as she closes the magazine and sets it back where she found it. There was something attractive about the clothing in it though, because as she had told Matt earlier, she was a fan of the odd and unusual, and the content in the magazine most certainly was that.

"I don't think you're like the male apparel and colors but sure anything for you. You still have 250 to spend so I'm glad you picked something" He teased as he stood beside the couch waiting for Lily to stand. He held his hand out anyway "need any help sweetie?" He asked trying to simply be his friendly and generous self.

Lily snorted with laughter and took Matt's paw, thankful for the help as she was helped to her feet, her cane in hand. She nodded her agreement on the male apparel, though some of it was very cute and she couldn't help but giggle as she pictured some of it on Matt. It would certainly make the big feline a lot cuter. The fawn had been kidding about getting something, but then again it would be interesting to try some of it. She'd think on it some she determined. "Maybe, shame your friend didn't leave any of her stuff behind for me to try eh?" She teases back.

"Well diapers are like 20 bucks, these outfits are much more expensive" he explains as he lets her hand go and walks to the front door and opens it for the both of them to get through. "I guess we can just venture around the woods and make it by the river. Other than random wandering, I'm not sure if there's much to show you aside from the river and lake" he explains.

Lily's ears twitched lightly as they walked and left the house. "Oooh, yeah that makes sense, I suppose they're not things you can find at your local Goodwill... Did your friend have some of them? She seemed to like this kinda thing a lot from how you described her, and a casual stroll sounds fine, I don't know how long I'll be able to go before you'll have to carry me." She comments with a giggle as she starts to follow Matt.
