A New Family Member (Private for Ace615 and Baby Sarah)

Hikari hugged Jack tightly. "I wanna come wit oo! I wanna weabe dis pwace!" She mewled excitedly as she hugged Jack, ignoring her filthy diaper.

Jack laughs and hugs her close, nuzzling the top of her head in the process. "Glad to hear it." With that he stands up and takes Hikari's hand in his, leading her over to the attendant. "I'd like to adopt her, could you change her while I fill out the paperwork?"

While the attendant is tending to Hikari Jack fills out the necessary forms at the front desk, and by the time Hikari returns he is finished. He goes to Hikari and gingerly picks her up, enjoying the smell of baby powder as it hit his nostrils. "Well, your officially my daughter now, ready to see your new home?"

Hikari nodded as the attendant handed Jack a backpack. "This contains everything she owns. Good luck with her. you'll need it with that little troublemaker." The attendant practically spat. Apparently, Hikari was not well liked among the staff. Her backpack only contained a few things, among which was a pink pacifier, a stuffed cat, and a baby bottle. Hikari's eyes started tearing up at the treatment she was recieving from the attendant.

Jack scowls at the attendant and waves her off after taking the backpack from
her. "You don't pay any attention to her Hikari, she's just jealous of you is
all." Jack takes a look in her backpack, fully realizing just how regressed
Hikari was, it was rather cute though. He wouldn't have to change her
commodations much, probably move the old changing table left in his house by the
previous owners into the room he had set up for her. He also have to buy some
diapers and other baby supplies, but that was ok.

Jack pulls Hikari's pacifier from her backpack and slips it into the little
neko's mouth, gently rubbing her back as he carried her out to his car. "Now
you just relax m'kay?" Fortunately he didn't know exactly how young or small
the girl he would adopt would be, so he already had a carseat ready in the back
seat. He quickly gets her in it and buckles the 5 point safety restraint,
making sure its snug before getting in the drivers seat. Soon they are off.
It's maybe a half-hour drive to Jack's home, it isn't really 'rich' looking, but
well paid for. "Let me show you your room." He carries her inside and down the
hall, stopping at a door on the left. Jack sets Hikari down and pushes it open.

"Take a look, tell me if you like it." The room is decent sized, and obviously
meant for a little girl, everything has a pink and white theme. The bed is in
the corner, with a pair of pink footed jammies folded up on it. In another
corner is a pile of various stuffed animals, some other toys are near it as well
as a doll house and a rocking horsey which has an authentic full-sized saddle on
it. There is also a dresser with a mirror on it, a desk with a small chair and
lamp and (insert other things she'd like to have here).

Hikari sucked softly on her paci as Jack took her home, and her eyes widened at her new room. She noticed safety rails on the sides of her new bed, reminding her of the crib she was forced to sleep in at the orpahanage. "It's so amazing daddy! I wub it!" She mewled happily from behind her paci before her tummy let out a rumble, causing the little kitten to blush as she looked up at Jack. "Oopsie. Sowwy daddy, I diwdn't get to have a biwg wunch. Da owphaanage wadies said babies dun get biwg giwl food, onwy fowmuwa." She said sadly, revealing that she had also been intentionally malnourished for some reason.

Jack had to stop himself from 'awwing' when she called him 'daddy'. He was relieved she was taking to him so easily. The news of her malnourishment really rubs him the wrong way though, he would inform the authorities of the orphanages mal-treatment later. "Well." He gently prods her into the room. "You just sit tight and play here while I go get you something to eat." He kneels down to eye level with her, getting a bit more sterner. "Like any house mine has rules though, so be a good girl and behave." With that he tussles her hair and disappears from the room to go get her a proper lunch.

Hikari nodded as she sucked on her paci when Jack told her to be a good girl, and toddled off to play with her new stuffed animals, before her eyes caught the jammies on the bed. She sucked on her paci nervously before she began to take off her grungy old dress, and walked over to her bed and picked up the jammies, looking them over before she started to try to dress herself.

Jack is gone for several minutes before returning to get Hikari. "Alright
Hikari I fix-" He cuts off and smiles as he see's the little neko struggling to
put on the pajama's. "Already want to try on the jammies hmm?" Jack goes to
her and kneels down, still chuckling as he helps her slip into them, then zips
them up snug. He gives her a gentle pat on the bottom. "Ready for lunch?"

Hikari smiled behind her paci as Jack helped her into her new jammies. SHe purred contently at how warm her jammies were compared to her dress before looking up at Jack and nodding. "Mhm-hm, I'm weady fow wunch daddy." SHe mewled as she took Jack's hoof.

Jack leads her into the kitchen where bowl of mac n' cheese sits waiting. He had already stacked a couple pillows on a chair that she could sit on, since he didn't own a booster seat or highchair. Jack lifts her up and sits her on the pillows, which boosts her up nicely. After scooting her chair in he tucks a napkin into the neck of her jammies as a makeshift bib. "I hope mac and cheese will be fine for now, only thing I could make on short notice."
