Fluttershy took a long and deep breath before she pulled away from the hug and set the young Pegasus on the bed beside her; kneeling down to be eye level with Scootaloo and placing a hand on to her shoulder, Fluttershy spoke with a sincere tone " Scootaloo there is nothing in world I want more than for you to be my daughter "holding back tears she smiled softly and spoke once more "now if it's okay with you, I can go get all the paper work sorted out while you gather your things and say your goodbyes " with a quick hug she stood up and waited for Scootaloo's answer.

Scootaloo nodded. She was trying not to cry but it was rather hard when for the first time in her life, somepony wanted her enough to take her away from this horrible place. She didn't have a lot of things to call her own. One week's worth of clothes, a dress, a plush kitten, and her scooter. That was all she had to her name. "O-ok F-Fluttershy....i-it won't take me long to get everything. I don't really have much to be honest. Just some clothes, my kitty and my scooter."

"Well I hope the paper won't tak to long wouldn't want to keep you waiting for your new home " Fluttershy said as she left the room to get the paper work in order. Stoping at the door way she turned around "once your done packing up you can meet me at the front desk if I'm still dealing with your realese forms okay sweetie " she said in an encouraging tone .

Scootaloo nodded and went to work getting her stuff together. She pulled out the small moveable case her clothes were in and made sure everything was there. She left it on her bed, heading to the small room near the front where they kept her scooter. She grabbed that and headed back upstairs. The scooter had a small strap on it for her to carry it with and she put it over her shoulder, grabbing her cat plush and clothes and going to the front to find Fluttershy.

Fluttershy was almost done with the papers she made sure she had crossed her t's and doted her i's but before she was done she asked the headmistress some questions about the young filly's medical records she wanted to make sure if she had any allergies or had to take any special medication. Before the other mare could answer her questions she saw Scootaloo in the corner of her eye and immediately went to her and grabbed her luggage so she would only haft to carry her scooter and plushy, bending down Fluttershy said in a cheery voice "what's this little guy's name" as she looked into the button eyes of the plush cat.

Scootaloo blushed. "W-well she's a girl....her name's Nina!" She said happily, getting nervous about the fact that she was actually being adopted! Somepony was taking her away from this stupid place and that made her as happy as she could be right now. "S-so are we going home now?" She asked, still wondering what to call Fluttershy. She wasn't sure what to call her so she just didn't call her anything for now.

"Oh..well that's a very pretty name I hope you two enjoy your new home , I bet you to are just itching to get out of here but I need to finsh up with front desk real quick and we will be on our way okay " she said with a warm smile and slight nod. Walking back to the mare she was speaking with before "okay I think that's it " she said giving the stack of papers over to the mare behind the desk. Once she did she was told everything she would need would be mailed in by next week if not sooner do with a sigh she turned around and reached out her hand towards Scootaloo and said in sweet and soft voice "are you ready to go home".

Scootaloo stood still for a few minutes while Fluttershy finished up the paperwork and got all of the important information that pertained to her. She was more than happy to wait a fwe minutes since she'd be leaving this hellhole she had to have called home for her entire life. She almost jumped when Fluttershy offered her hand out. She nodded. "Y-yeah!" She said, really happy to do so. "S-so now that you've adopted me....w-what do I call you?" She asked, curious as she'd just been calling her by her name.

Walking out the door Fluttershy turned to her newly adopted daughter and gave a warm smile when she said in a cheerful tone"you can call me mom or whatever you want I know this is a big change for you so just call me anything that's comfortable for you okay " the walk to the cottage would at least take an hour or longer which gave an opertuninty for the two to get to know each other.

Scootaloo thought about it for a few minutes and blushed. "I-I guess I'll call you mama i-if that's ok..." She said, walking to Fluttershy's cottage. She blushed a bit, hinting at her nervousness. "S-so what are we gonna do once we get to your house?"
