Pocahontas felt a tear come to her eye. She kissed John back, wrapping her arms around his upper body.

He smiled and was quite happy. They stayed there for a while, then went back to look things over. "So, what book have you read the most at this point?"

(Have you ever considered doing a Joan of Arc RP? I know that must be a touchy subject, seeing as how it's heavily religious and such. Still, I think it's interesting to think about. The idea came to me just now, believe it or not.)

"Well, I have read plenty from both fiction and history," Pocahontas disclosed, "However, one of my favorite books is about a young girl close to my age who united the French army during the Hundred Years War."

(Possibly, I don't know. Well, if you want to include more elements of the historical Pocahontas, she converted to Christianity. I may not be a religious person, but I wouldn't mind using that)

"Oh, Joan of Arc. That's a very interesting story."

(I happen to be a devout Catholic, but I respect people of all other creeds and beliefs. In fact, my best friend is an atheist. I wouldn't mind adding this to the to-do list. The only problem is finding someone compatible with her. The best possibility would be Gilles de Rais, but who would want to RP about that child serial killer? Worst cast scenario, she can simply remain Joan the Maid.)

Pocahontas nodded her head. "I still cannot quite fathom why she was executed. They did not kill her for war crimes or anything of the sort, but for something else entirely. Could you enlighten me?"

(If we can find a story, we'll do it. I don't want to force anything. In the meantime, would you like Pocahontas to convert?)

John explained as he best he could about the Inquisition, and what was held at the time, and how Joan and her visions seemed to contradict that.

(That sounds fine with me. In both cases. I like incorporating elements of the original source material into Disney adaptations.)

Pocahontas was able to understand after an in-depth lesson of history. "That does not sound all that different from the visions my village elders see in smoke, as well as the spirit animals my people follow."

"Well, then I guess you might believe in God already, you just don't know it." He smiled a bit as Pocahontas then decided to check this out by reading the Bible.

Pocahontas found the Bible to be a fascinating book. However, based on how John spoke of it, it was clear he regarded it as much more than just a mere book. "Is the Bible important to you?"

"Yes. God plays an important part in our lives. Do you? You can be honest with me."
