She just wanted it to be over quickly, though she knew that no matter how swift it was, it would still feel like an eternity.

Mihari said as she retrieved more supplies from the bag, namely a bottle of baby powder in the case of any future rashes.

Mahiro lay on the changing mat, tears still glistening at the corners of her eyes. As soon as the diaper touched her, she almost broke down again. She tried to distract herself, but lying flat on her back made it hard for her to focus on her tablet or phone. "Mihari, please," she pleaded, kicking her legs slightly. She was almost tempted to run, but she knew that even if she did, Mihari would easily catch her with just a couple of steps.

"Just a minute..." Mihari muttered, applying the baby powder and bringing the front of the diaper up, before securely finishing the diaper change as she made sure it was snug around her waist. "And there we go... come on, cheer up a little!" She gave her a small reassuring pat on the back as she finished "It might be, um, a little strange to get used to first, but I'm sure you'll used to everything in no time. Besides, saves me any cleanup work... which I still have to do."

Puffing out her cheeks, she sat up, acutely aware of the crinkling of the diaper. When she stood, she realized it forced her legs apart slightly. She sniffled and wiped her face with her arm. “How long is this going to last?” she asked, her voice tinged with frustration. It sounded like, from the way her now older sister spoke, she might be stuck this size and in diapers for a while. She began pacing, waddling with each step due to the bulk between her legs. “How am I supposed to do anything? What if I get hungry? How am I supposed to cook, Mihari? How?” She searched for any possible solution, but her pacing was interrupted when she stumbled and fell onto her bottom, unaccustomed to the bulk between her legs.

"Well, I was just going to get to that!" The girl smiled as she sat the notes down, "While I'm not sure of the exact length the... regression lasts, you won't have to worry about the other things." Mihari said, "That saying, I'll be taking care of all those needs for you. It's a fair tradeoff, right? No worrying about things, food, showers... or even the bathroom." She grinned, "Plus, I think it's fair time that you finally left your room."

"Leave my room?" she repeated, shaking her head at the thought. To Mahiro, the outside world seemed like the most evil place to exist. She hated the idea of going near the front door, let alone leaving the house. Despite learning that she physically couldn’t put up much of a fight, the thought was out of the question. “What if someone I know spots me? What if—” She was interrupted by her stomach, reminding her that in all the chaos, she hadn’t had breakfast. “I... I’m Hungry” she said sheepishly.

"I don't think anybody knows who the cute little girl here is right now, if I'm to be honest!" Mihari stood up as she noted the little grumble from her stomach, "Ah, then let's get that settled! Though, are you really happy going around the house in nothing else but a diaper, or do you want some clothes to fit you first?" She asked as she began rummaging through the closet - she had already swapped out much of her clothes before Mahiro had woken up.

“Clothes, please!” She jumped up at the thought; the less she had to see her diaper, the better. What could be better at concealing it than one of her shirts, which would now act like a long gown? She looked down and, for the first time, noticed her now much longer and softer hair. Maybe Mihari had a few valid points, but she would never admit that her sister was right.
