Today had been an interesting day. Flare, an Arcanine, had been napping when he was rudly awakened by a Vulpix trying to challenge him to a battle. It started off normal, attack, dodge, repeat. However, when the Vulpix got close he laid on top of the poor Pokémon until he yeilded.

Flare was trotting back to his home, holding the fox Pokemon in his mouth by the scruff.

The small Vulpix hung from his muzzle his eyes peered around. The larger pokemon certainly a concerning manner as he didn't know what to expect next. Chills running through his fur.

Flare padded into a large cave filled with items pilfered from people, there was even an old car sitting on its side against the wall.

The cheerful Arcanine placed him in the center of the room with a firm, "Stay here." Before going over to a smaller side cave.

He sat there ears flat as his legs had fallen asleep during the journey. So he was stuck in the middle of the room as he struggled to get to his feet. His paws softly scratching against the ground as he fought for balance. His small frame still a bit mottled from the battle. Which had ended in an embarrassing manner.

Flare returned shortly with a cloth bag with many pockets hanging from his jaws.
When he saw what the Vulpix was trying to do, he laid behind him and pinned him down with a massive paw on his back, "Going somewhere? Even after I told you to stay?"

He yipped and whimpered as he looked up and said, "n-no it's just my legs fell asleep." His body falling to the floor pretty easily since he was barely up in the first place. However the bay in his muzzle lead to some curious thoughts.

Flare gave a sceptic nod before removing his paw and putting his face level with the Vulpix, "What's your name, little one?"

He puffed up a bit offended by the comment. "I'm almost a year old." He turned away with a huff trying to show some scrap of resistance. He wasn't exactly here by choice.

Flare sighed and nudged the bag closer, "Regardless of your age, your decision process is infantile at best. And that is why you're going to wear these." It was revealed to be a diaper bag filled with supplies for taking care of a baby.

He whined as he pawed at the ground his ears flat as those looked like they would make it hard to move. His paws trying to dig at the ground however making no progress.
