A Padded Goddess and a Diapered Crusader

"Not helpful, huh?" Aqua thought to herself, "Well I'll show him once I get this quest done." For the past week Kazuma had been berating the blue-haired goddess over how little the girl had helped his party on all the other quests they had did. Usually she would pay little attention to the seriousness of the mission and the time she would pay attention she tends to make things a bit worse.

Getting mad at that the girl decided to take on a quest all on her own with Darkness' help. The girl heard about retrieving a lost treasure in an old castle and the reward was very high. She didn't question why no one had taken it yet but she didn't care. All that was important was that she was gonna prove Kazuma wrong about something for once. "Alright, we should almost be there," Aqua stated, roaming through the thick bushes in the woods, seeing a castle tower above the treetops.

Meanwhile, Darkness was already looking forward to the mission. Aqua came to her for her ability to tank hits pretty easily, and she accepted as soon as she heard the word "cursed"

"Maybe I’m going to get cursed !? Maybe I’m gonna become a slave to some kind of demon !? Oh, how embarrassing and shameful that would be…! M-mh~! Just thinking about it makes me shiver in fear !"

Fear ? More like arousal…

Aqua just listened to Darkness' little rant and became somewhat worried herself. Still, she had to choose the blonde because her other option would've been Megumin. With that girl's obsession with explosions whatever they would be looking for would likely be destroyed along with the entire fortress. At the front door the blunette looked around, seeing that the place was very old. Vines were growing all over the structure, the windows were cracked and shattered. Seemed like nobody had been here for a long time.

"So this is the place?" Aqua wondered, giving off a smirk, "Doesn't look like anyone's here. Whatever this treasure is taking it will be a piece of cake. Kazuma will be begging for my forgiveness when he sees how helpful I really am."

Aqua placed her hand on the large, wooden door, finding it that it could be opened up with ease. "Come on," the goddess smiled to Darkness, "Let's search this ugly castle for this treasure and get out of here."
