Redcrest chittered and bobbed his head. Human pack dynamics were strange. His keeper was an alpha to him but yet, she had an alpha.

The man ignored the two talking raptors. "I can only discuss this in the meeting room. I need to speak to the trainers of the two raptors. But we're expanding our raptor training and engineering program."

Redcrest trilled and chittered in joy. "More raptors like us?" he asked.

The newcomer ignored Redcrest but looked at raptors' two keepers.

One of the scientists in the synthesis laboratory and hatchery, paced nervously. His proposal about using modified raptors as powerful but disposable troops had been submitted to the board. It was a massive risk but since one of the executives had been courting various defense companies, he though it'd be worth it.

Greyazure blinked on what is going on right now, something about training expansion. "More gymnastics..?" He asked.

Red's keeper was surprised on this. "Ooh.."

Redcrest tilted his head and ruffled his feathers. "What do you mean?" he asked his keeper.

Greyazure's keeper turned to his raptor. Somehow, something felt "off" about this man. "I'm not sure, Grey," he said.

The scientist in question was sipping some water when an assistant tapped him on the shoulder. He scowled for a moment but then retained his composure.

"Is there something the matter?" he asked.

"Doctor Svelri, your proposal has been accepted by the board. They're holding a meeting right now."

Dr. Svelri finished off his water and threw the cup away. "Excellent. I shall be on my way." He pulled out his cell phone and called his bosses as he walked through doors of the laboratory.

The man waiting outside the raptor enclosure held up a finger as his cell phone rang. He spoke into it for a few moments and then nodded.

"Excuse me, the board meeting has started and they request that the trainers of both raptors be present," the man said.

He turned on his heel and exited through the door.

Red's trainer looked over to him. "I don't know.." She answered.

Greyazure blinked a bunch on this. "Huh...?"

[Silvertip]

Greyazure's keeper rubbed the back of his neck. He turned to Redcrest's keeper. "We really should be heading to that meeting."

Redcrest gently nudged his keeper. "Go on, listen to your alpha," he said.

Redcrest's keeper nodded a bit. "Okay, lets go."

Greyazure sighs a little. "Yes...go on now."

[Silvertip]

Greyazure's keeper exited the enclosure. The stun rod wielding guards were the last to follow. The sound of the heavy doors sliding shut soon echoed through the enclosure.

Redcrest tilted his head and snuffled slightly. "Human pack dynamics are so weird," he muttered.

Redcrest followed beside afterward.

Greyazure sighs and shook his head. "...How very odd." He said.

Greyazure's trainer entered the meeting room. The room itself had the characteristic blandness of corporate decor.

Agroup of businessmen in suits a few other scientists dressed in business casual were seated at a conference table. Doctor Svelri was at the front of the room. He had on his lab coat as he did not bother to take it off before starting the presentation

"Gentlemen," Doctor Svelri said, pointing to the screen. "Welcome to the start of a new age of raptor training."

Greyazure's trainer rolled his eyes but said nothing.

Redcrest chittered. "What's odd?" he asked. The scent of Humans meant that a group of zoogoers were probably watching the enclosure, waiting for the two raptors to emerge.

Redcrest's trainer sighs but watches onward.

Greyazure looked a little bit. "..The things that only humans know." He said.
