Greyazure's keeper rubbed his neck. "Well, I guess you could call it fighting but we fight with calls instead of our bodies. Granted, there are some cases where we do physically fight."

It was then one of Dr. Sverli's assistants entered the enclosure. He was separated from the two raptors by the heavy steel bars. "What the hell's taking you so long!? The test was supposed to start fifteen minutes ago!? We're doing a public demonstration!"

Greyazure's keeper turned to the assistant. "We're having some trouble with the raptors!"

"Oooh...hmm." Greyazure blinks on his keeper. "Hmm? What trouble??"

Redcrest's keeper eeped and looks to the other. "Yeah! We just need a little more time to reason with them!!"

"Reason? They're fucking animals!" the assistant said.

Redcrest raised his crest and hissed at the man.

Greyazure's keeper gently silenced the raptor by placing a finger on his muzzle. He silently hoped that the assistant hadn't heard him talking.

"Well hurry up with your 'reasoning' then! You don't want to keep him waiting! And remember, this is a public demonstration so get them public-presentable. That means the usual protocol!" The man turned on his heels and exited the enclosure, somehow managing to slam the heavy airlock door behind him. Little did they know that he did indeed, hear Greyazure speaking.

Redcrest chittered and snuffled. "What crawled up his cloaca? Anyways, maybe we should get going. Your alpha doesn't seem too happy."

"He's not my alpha!" Greyazure's keeper muttered between gritted teeth.

Greyazure heard it and hissed only to be silenced quickly by his keeper and sighs. "..Jerk."

Redcrest's keeper shushed him a bit and laid a hand on his head. "Fine, jeeze..." SHe sighs. "Ooh nothing...hey!!" She pouted.

Greyazure chittered a little. "What is this protocol...this thing we're suppose to do??"

Greyazure's keeper rubbed the back of his head she swallowed his mouthful of jerky. "You know, all the stuff you wear for public interactions. The leash, the muzzle, the booties, the mittens and the diaper."

Redcrest growled and raised his crest. "I thought we were doing this in the hunting grounds?"

He looked through the double-airlock door and blew some air through his nostrils. "Fine. If it's for those public interactions, then let's get this over with!"

Greyazure's keeper cut in. "Yeah, turns out we couldn't get enough camera coverage there so he's doing a special show where you two can interact with the public."

Redcrest's keeper sighs and nodded. "Yeah, its only for those interactions...thats all." She said before fidgeting on the tone. "Right.."

Greyazure shook his head a bit. "Great..."

Greyazure's keeper shrugged. "You don't have to use your diapers. I recommend doing your business first before we get you all diapered and ready."

"I don't mind the leash, the mittens or the booties," Redcrest said as he looked at the aforementioned restraints hanging on the wall. "It's the diapers I don't like."

Greyazure tends to his feathers a little bit before looking to him. "Ooh...well then i will do that before i have to wear that thing again."

Redcrest's keeper rubs her head a little. "Well..if you don't like to use them, then just go do your business in privacy first." She shrugs. "Though thats just optional."

Greyazure's keeper nodded as he got the items off the wall for the two raptors. He inspected them to make sure they weren't damaged or broken.

Redcrest went over to the trough in the corner of the grotto, backed his rump over it and relieved himself as he had been trained to do. He chittered and chirped at Greyazure to do he same.
