The bear tried to say that but Nala kept squirming, so he could only sigh and begin carrying her out of the apartment, figuring that she would be a bit fussier and, as such, wouldn't be allowed to get anything. The poor jaguar girl whined more as she was being brought to the bottom floor of the apartment complex, leaving Sam to quickly pack his belongings, whatever they may be. He could also grab a few of Nala's if he wished.

When the small wolf boy finally went down stairs, he could see Nala being "escorted" outside, where a rather large limousine was waiting for both of them. Soon, she was slowly and carefully put inside and fastened to what seemed like a car seat, with her squirming more and more.

"M-MMMMPH! NMMPH!!!" The jaguar girl whined out as she was unable to really move about in this seat, and seemed rather annoyed and flustered.

"I mostly put her in since she couldn't behave. You will be sitting in the back with her, but only in a seat if you wish to." The bear mumbled a bit as they tucked the paperwork away, sighing. "Any other possessions you did not bring with you will fall under assets of Miss Moonlight, so what you brought with you is what you'll be taking with you for now. Any other items you had might end up at your new place within time, but for now...can I take your bag? Or do you want to sit with it?"

Soon enough, the two were being driven about very slowly by the bear, letting them both take a bit of time to really take in the fact that someone they had never met was now seemingly adopting them. Nala wasn't exactly pleased, only able to voice her frustrations with annoyed grunts with the pacifier in her mouth, all while her hearing was severely limited by those headphones. It was kind of adorable to see her act like this.

"Sam didn't know how to act his entire life people made fun of him even his own family made fun of him girl's always avoided him and nobody liked him not even his own mom so knowing someone is going to be babying them makes him wonder if it's just going to be like his childhood"

As the two rode for a while longer, Nala seemed more and more nervous, slowly going from mad to scared. She was even unintentionally suckling on the pacifier a little, which no doubt would let Sam tease her a fair bit.
