Pleasant Lake Mental Hospital (private)

Dr.Jasmine was a new transfer to the adult wing of the Pleasant Mental Hospital. She was formally a member of the pediatric wing's team, but the board of directors requested her transfer so that her talents could be better used on a much larger populations. She did miss the kids though, and the kid's wing was a lot more colorful than the drab greens and whites of the adult ward. She got a clipboard from the nurses station detailing her newest patient as he was brought to the hospital

"...Seriously guys. I can walk myself to my room...." Joey said. Joey had been brought in recently after a court case where he had ended up assaulting his slave driver of a employer and trashing up the his place of work. After a talk with a psychiatrist and his lawyer, it was revealed that Joey had snapped from work overload and while he was seen as fully justified by his co-workers, it was still unfortunately against the law. The judge deemed that Joey was receive a full psychiatric evaluation as an in patient after 2-3 months before he was deemed 'mentally sound' to re-enter the work place. The staff were also authorized to extend his stay if it seemed he was NOT in fact well enough by the due date.

Dr.Jasmine sighs a bit as she went to the intake room 'hello, joey. Im glad to see that you have clamed down" she steps into the white room and shuts the door "so lets finish the introductions. I am Dr.Jasmine, and i will be your treating docter. Now, here at this facility we try and use medication as a last result and we use some... alternative therapies. Do you under stand?" she taps her fingers on the clip board

Joey nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah. I getcha. I don't exactly want to be drugged out of my head...so I'll be more than happy to try something else." He said. "I know I didn't exactly handle myself the best when my...er...'episode' happened. But I'm much more calm if that means anything."

She smiles a bit and ajusts her half rim glasses allowing for her ppericing blue eyes to make cobtact with Joey. "Joey, i just transfered from the kids ward, so excuse me if i dont immdettly belive you. The stories i could tell you" she chuckles a bit and scratches her head causing a few short blonde hairs to fall out "i hope i dont have lice, if i do i must have got it from Naomi during her trantrum over the diapers" she murmurs to herself. She turns to Joey "Sorry about that. Shall i show you to your room?"

"Uh, yes. Sure." He nods his head and gets to his feet and starts to walk along with Dr. Jasmine. "But you do realize I'm NOT a child right?" He asked casually. "I've just...been through alot of stress, and I'm looking forward to getting away from that."

"Yes dear... i fully know that you are not a child" she takes him to his room. It was a bit on the small side, but it would do. It had a carbon fiber bed frame bolted to the floor and a rather soft matress covered with a green plastic sheet. The walls and floor appeared to be vcushioned as to prevent self harm. Other than that, the room was empty. "Ew" dr.jasmine says sticking out her tongue "so this is what adult rooms here look like, they dont even have a changing table" she sighs "your nurse will be here shortly" she leaves the room and shuts the door locking Joey in

Joey watches her leave. Once he's left alone, he just sighs to himself and walks over to the bed and has a seat. "Ugh..." he groans and lays back, the bed crinkling from the plastic sheet. ". . . All this because the jerk-wad wouldn't let me have my days off when I was supposed to have them."

Soon a nurse with dark orange hair and soft green eyes opens the door pushing a cart in "hello Joey, i am Nurse Jackie" she walks over to him with her arm extended

Joey lifted he head when she walked in. He readjusted himself to an upright sitting position. "Oh, Hello~" His eyes fell to the cart she was pushing, curious about what was in it.
