Austin and his Pokemon had just landed in the region of Unova to compete in its League.

Once Landed Austin gets off the plain Un aware of what's about to happen

As Austin touches down, a strange wave of energy suddenly impacts the pokeball attached to his belt. The gate that he exits has a wall of psychic pokemon from Gardevoirs to Reuniclus creating a psychic barricade around the way.


As it falls, Austin's partner Hatterene emerges from it, only to suddenly start glowing. Her body underneath her hair increases in size until it's taken on feminine humanlike proportions, though its hair still extended all the way to the floor and covered it just the same way. She looked down at Austin, somewhat confused.

"Are you alright?" Hatterene asked, kneeling down to meet his gaze.

[Ultrasonic16]

Austin looked shocked and backs up

Austin: y...you talked! How?!

[GreaterGood]

"Well, it's rather simple rea-" Hatterene suddenly stopped, giggling as she continued to speak in her elegant galarian accent, "Oh, I suppose I did!"

She looked down at her body, sticking her arms out and inspecting her skin. She didn't seem to really acknowledge that she was completely naked, though.


"I don't know about you," Hatterene said, "But I feel a little bit different since getting off of the plane."

[Ultrasonic16]

Austin: you're completely different and you talking isn't simple!

"Really?" Hatterene said, "You seem to be doing it just fine."

Austin: because I'm a human that's different

A Gardevoir stepped through the barrier along with the other psychic pokemon, and approached Austin and Hatterine. The other psychics attended to other people while it seemed Gardevoir was concerned with them.

"Hello, miss," She said, pointing down at Austin, "Is he yours?"

Both of them seemed confused.


"No..." Hatterene said, "I am his."

Austin: what is going on here?!

He asked Gardivor

[GreaterGood]

"A-a-a-a-a-a-a," Gardevoir said, putting up a finger in front of his mouth before shushing him, "The grown-ups are talking right now, sweetie."

The Gardevoir had a very helpful, eager smile. It likely would have reminded Austin of a daycare attendant or a nurse joy.


"Well, I think he and I have the same question," Hatterene said, her large blue hand scratching her chin, "What all did happen?"


"Well, I don't exactly know all of the details," Gardevoir said, "But there's a certain odd micro-organism that managed to sneasel its way into our cells. It started re-writing our genetic code, rapidly changing us. Increased size, cognitive function, capacity for language, and several more that are still being studied."
