"First... I'm going to change before either I leak, or I get a rash..." Alister said, clumsibly erecting a thick barrier that obscured what was happening behind it, which divided the tent in two. "OW!" Alister exclaimed, erecting barriers were painful because sometimes he used too much Aura and it became painful, as for what just happened. He quickly cleaned himself off and finished changing his diaper to a new one, before making the barrier disappeared as he deposed of the used diaper into a trashbag, before pulling pants on.
"Okay... I believe I have some bacon..." Alister said, looking through his rations bag, and indeed he was correct, as he went outside to make a campfire, and lit it with Aibne's Thundershock, before starting to cook the bacon.

"Mmmmm...lightning bacon.....," was pretty much the one thing on Ramon's mind that was greater than an adventure at the moment. He watched the Spoink meat sizzle, making his mouth water and his tummy rumble even more. To take his mind off it until it was done, Ramon decided to change into fresh clothes as well, and to help clean up a little around an inside the tent. There was a surprisingly large amount of trash in the area; it mostly consisted of empty water bottles and candy bar wrappers, courtesy of himself. He ALWAYS had candy with him, no matter where he was.
Ramon could smell the almost finished bacon, and decided to stroll back over to the campfire.
((Lol I didn't want to use Spoink so much, but I can't think of anymore pig-pokemon at the moment I KNOW there's more...))

(( XD LoL ))
Alister grinned as he finished cooking the bacon and got some cutlery and plates out, which he usually had with him. He put equal servings on with bits of toast that he cooked soon after the bacon. Alister had gotten out some camp chairs as well. Alister had found out a while ago, that Pokeballs could be used as storage devices for things other than Pokemon, and Alister had quite a few Pokeballs labeled that held things such as the tent kit and the like. Ah the wonders of Technology.
((Surprisingly... that thing about Pokeballs containing items is canon in the games and the anime. I will quote this from Bulbapedia "In both the anime and games, it has been shown that items can be contained in Poké Balls, apparently able to be captured in much the same way as a Pokémon. The anime has used this as a gag on several occasions, most notably in Primeape Goes Bananas, where Ash accidentally catches a rice ball when he throws a Poké Ball in an attempt to catch a wild Mankey." ))

(fun idea! I never really payed attention to that! ^^)
Ramon sat down, amazed at how much experience this boy has had, and he only looks to be...what, about...thirteen? It made him sad he was seventeen, and has only been in one pokemon battle in his life; the one from yesterday. He dismissed his thoughts, and focused primarily on the bacon again. Long story short, wild Spoink was defeated.
After the four of them ate, Ramon felt completely refreshed and at the top of his game. Today is the day he'd catch his pokemon! "So Alister, I've searched all through these woods many times in my life, but I just haven't found anything exciting. You wouldn't happen to know where to find better pokemon? I know there's gotta be some cool ones in here somewhere..." Ramon wondered in a curious tone.

"I'm pretty new to Hoenn... so I know very little about the actual continent... normally long grass is home to insect and occasional Normal Type pokemon in forests. Then again, there are the trees themselves... I'm assuming that there would be Cascoon, Silcoon and perhaps Poochyena... from what I have read of the woods, I mean" Alister said, as he looked at Ramon. He was resting his chin on his hands and his elbows on his knees. "Poochyena are loyal companions, especially when you raise them right and get them to evolve into Mightyena. The advantage of Dark Type pokemon is that they are immune to Psychic types..." Alister explained, giving the advantages of catching a Poochyena.
"Heheh, you seem to be as knowledable on Pokemon as you are skilled with them!" Ramon complimented, for the most part impressed. "I knew most of that myself anyway, but you make a few clear points: I have a lot of choices around here, and some may be harder to get to than others!" As Ramon says this, he looks around their campsite. His first glances are toward the bushes that entangled themselves around their small clearing. He happened to notice a few Wurmple and Cascoon...or were they Silcoon? Since light doesn't get through the forest too well, he just couldn't tell, and didnt want to risk his pokeball. He then looked in the trees on the opposite side of the clearing. He saw a small shadow dangling from a tree.
"What's with all these freaking cacoons everywhere?" Ramon complained, until he looked closer. The figure seemed to be dangling from a limb, and was slowly rocking back and forth. "Hey Alister? I think I found the Pokemon I want to try my catch on," Ramon stated as the now visible Slakoth shown with a little added light that escaped the trees' deathly grasp. The creature appeared to be sound asleep.

"Interesting..." Alister said, as he got one of his hairbands and brought some of his long golden red hair down his neck into a ponytail, tying it up with the hairband. "Sleeping Pokemon are easier to catch, if they have status problems then they are easily caught... Laioseach knows Thunderwave... so he can paralyse it as well" Alister whispered to Ramon.
Ramon looked at the Jolteon, then back at the Slakoth. "It's already asleep; if I were alone, I would most definitely throw this pokeball...," Ramon figured while rolling the ball back and forth in his hand. "But, after all of my failures, although I REALLY want to conquer it myself, I'm going to ask Laioseach for help. Do you want to help me catch this guy, Laioseach? It's easier to catch when weakened, and Alister's right: you could always just paralyze it as well." Ramon knew that with the help of his new ally, he couldn't fail this time.

Laioseach nodded and took a stance. Alister smiled, and watched. Laioseach and Ramon seemed to be getting along very well. Alister waited for Ramon to make the first move.
Ramon appeared to be in a trance, focused entirely on the sleeping Pokemon. This was his first Pokemon battle...alone. Laioseach stood firm and ready by Ramon's side, ready to jump at the first command. Ramon stared for a long while, the camera slowly circling around him (lol) until suddenly, he shouted "Laioseach, Thunderbolt!" The Jolteon immedietely jumped into the air; as he neared the tree the Slakoth inhabited, he let out a loud, "Jolt...eEEEOON!" as a large ball of electricity left its body, hurling toward the unsuspecting sloth.
The Slakoth awoke, drool still on the edge of its mouth, to find the very Sun on the Earth. It's heat was so intense that..............well it pretty much didn't have time to finish that familiar thought, as it was directly struck by the lightning bolt, flinging it out of the tree and onto the dark, grassy field below. It immediately tried crawling away, as any Pokemon low on the food chain would, but being a Slakoth, it wasn't the fastest land-crawler in the world. A Wurmple, running the the same direction as the Slakoth trying to get away, passed the pathetic mammal and inched its way into the depths of the forest. The Slakoth turned around, attempting to scratch the electric Pokemon, but DAMN Jolteons are fast. "Laioseach, Thunderwave! We aren't taking any chances!" yelled Ramon over the commotion. He could see Alister and Aibne watching from the side.
The Jolteon roared once more, and created a wave of thunder, passing over the grounded sloth. Sparks could be seen surrounded its limbs, and it just simply couldn't move. "Today, I conquer you, Petalburg Woods! Pokeball, Gooo!!!" Ramon exclaimed at the top of his lungs as he threw his one pokeball.
