But I know little of the practice, as it is obviously rather archaic so I don't know about a bat and the moon if alchemy is even what they are going for

Ok I was joking but I'll be serious.

The only thing I can think of is that bats are around mostly at dark area or at night to be specific, when not in caves at least, and they are blood suckers which may kill some. Maybe there may be stores of bats being around at death or something that I didn't hear of. Psychic may have to do with them having a sense of hearing that reflect off of walls... Or not... I'm just speculating here...

With E3 and CoroCoro we have have plenty of new Pokemon confirmed and we got to know the identity of wireframe bird, now known as Pikipek. Right now my hopes is that we get more new Pokemon introduced then in generation six, where roughly seventy Pokemon where introduced. Sure it sounds like plenty but with the Kalos Pokedexes having a total of ~450 Pokemon that number suddenly seems small.

I also like the idea of Battle Royal. Kinda reminds me of this really old artwork from Generation I.

Is this the newest installment? I played yellow as the only pokemon game iv played, is there some overarching plot now or can I just dive into it when it it released?

You can just dive into it when it releases, You don't need to play any other games in order to play this one.

Excellent, I was thinking of jumping back on the pokemon train when the newest thing comes out so I can enjoy it with everyone else. So many new pokemon to...shoot, I don't think I will be able to remember them all like the 150 I got before.

Alright, we had leaks now which was confirmed by a Japanese Trailer (English names have yet to be confirmed and I have no idea where they came from on the internet. All I know is that people on the web are calling the new Pokemon by what was listed in Serebii). Right now I am thinking that Vikavolt looks like the coolest Pokemon revealed today and would love to have that has a competitive Pokemon. I sure hope they give it some stats that are considered battle-worthy.

"It all comes together" Pokemon Sun, and Pokemon Moon, have the possibility to be the last Pokemon game before a possible series Reboot, as the game mechanics haven't changed in over 20 years. The islands in the game correspond with the original 4 games, Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow, all I need say is AZOTH, we got clues to the next two games with AZ. Ho-oh, Lugia, they are connected to the emissaries of the sun and the moon, a bat and a lion. The Sun meaning Gold, and the Heart, and the Moon, meaning Silver, and the Soul. HeartGold, SoulSilver, Sun and Moon, and X and Y are also connected through the Z Legendary, who we will see the perfect form of.

Each of the new starters on Alola represent an Alchemical and mystical element, and the reason for the Bat Legendary, and the Lion, was to form a Chimaera, the body of a Lion, the Wings of a Bat, and the tail of a Scorpion, and from which the third legendary will be. Originally believed to be from Norse Mythos, the truth was that it was from Hindu Mythos, and it's trinity. The connection through Pokemon was that when a pokemon fainted in battle, it lost a small piece of its soul, and the new assistant to the pokemon professor in Alola, Lillie, hates pokemon battles because she knows this fact.

For the uninitiated, I'll make it clear, the games where we got Mega Evolution, had the symbols within the titles of the games, and so to with the Primal Evolutions in Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. The Word AZOTH, also contained the Latin letters Alpha, and Omega, and TH is the last letter in the hebrew alphabet, these two forms of Evolution clash, Artificial, and Natural.

In the titles of Pokemon Sun, and Pokemon Moon, we see a small diamond, this is representing the Revive Item in the Pokemon Card Game.
