"W-what? Applejack's gonna come laugh at me for not bein' the tough, cool pony everypony thinks I am?" Rainbow weakly tried to push Rarity away, nowhere near enough to make her let go, dropping her pacifier as she sobbed.

Fluttershy looked at Applejack, alarmed. "I, um, think she might not have noticed your diaper." She murmured. "Maybe you should...." she trailed off.

Applejack blinked a few times, then looked a bit worried, her ears down as she glanced towards the open doorway. "Y-yeah . . ." she replied, taking a hesitant step towards the room. "F-for Rainbow Dash." Taking another deep breath, she trotted into the room as nonchalantly as she could, seeing Rainbow being held by Rarity. Flicking her eyes side to side cautiously, she approached the two. "U-um . . . R-Rainbow?" she said awkwardly, causing Rarity to turn and looked up at Applejack which, in turn, gave a clear view of her to Rainbow as well. Applejack stared down at Rainbow with a blush, her nervousness apparently, but weakly tried to smile down at her usual rival. Her back legs shifted uneasily, her diaper rubbing against her and making slight audible cloth-on-cloth rubbing sounds.

At first Dash tried to retreat, to get out of Rarity's hooves when she saw Applejack. But a moment later she heard the sound and looked to see Applejack...was wearing a diaper! She looked up at Rarity in confusion.

"W-why is Applejack wearing a diaper too?" Rainbow Dash asked, clearly unsure what was going on.

Rarity was glad she had her filly's attention again, but kept her forelegs securely wrapped around her. "Fluttershy and I wanted to make sure you had the best experience during your stay here . . . and all foals need a playmate, right?" she explained with a smile.

For some reason, this made Applejack blush just a bit more. "Yyup, Ah'm here to uh, play with you, R-Rainbow," she answered, probably just as embarrassed as Rainbow was.

Wiping her eyes Rainbow Dash eyed Applejack uncertainly. "A-and you agreed to play with me?" She sniffed, looking hopeful. "You don't think I'm weird? You really wanna play with me?" There was a desperate, easily crushed longing and hope in her eyes as she looked at Applejack.

Applejack stared into those deep, rose eyes for a second. Rainbow's heart was truly set on making this her most cherished experience. Fluttershy and Rarity had approached Applejack with the sole purpose of making it a better one for Rainbow. Suddenly, seeing her friend so vulnerable, yet so hopeful, Applejack became invigorated. With an instant determined face and a real, genuine smile, Applejack took a step towards the two on the ground. She looked down at Rainbow and replied, "Tha's right, Sugarcube, and we're gonna have more fun than a swine at the bottom of a hill after rainy season, yee-haw!" she shouted, rearing up and surprising just about everypony there at her sudden willingness to play along.

Despite herself Rainbow Dash giggled. Applejack was really, really going to play with her! Not fight, not compete, just play!

"I-is that really a saying?" She asked with a giggle. "I can't wait!"

Rarity hugged Dashie close again, finally letting her go. She stood up and started to back out towards Fluttershy again. "I'll just leave you two to get a bit more acquainted, alright?" she said cheerfully, finally turning and walking just outside the door. Once she made it to Fluttershy, she sighed and said, "Well, that went a little better than expected."

Back in the room, Applejack still stood over Rainbow Dash. "So, um, D-Dashie," she began, using the nickname that Rarity had used, "what can we do for fun?" Now that the initial shock of meeting each other was over, Applejack could honestly say she was a tad more comfortable with this, granted Rainbow doesn't turn on her. She was just happy to be helping out as usually and, hey, if Fluttershy was right, she might enjoy actually playing with Dashie for a little bit.

Gulping nervously Rainbow Dash pointed at the toys. "W-well, I was playing with the blocks and some of the plushies." She blushed at saying all this to Applejack of all ponies. "Um, but Snugglewings is mine." She said somewhat defensively, picking up her toy and holding it tightly. She stuck her tongue out at Applejack for good measure. Snugglewings was hers.

Applejack snorted. Yup, this was the same Dash. Shifting her eyes from toy to toy that had been placed out for Rainbow play with, Applejack really wasn't sure where to start. She was in this for the long haul now, so she figured starting anywhere was fine. The now-diapered earth pony eyed a particular plushie across the blanket and decided to make it hers for now. She made her way to it, sitting on her padded rear with a pomf and picking it up between her hooves. It was a red earth pony with a brown, stringy mane. Actually, it reminded her of her brother a bit, just without the cutie mark. She glanced back to Dash, clutching her new plushie tightly, for a lead on what to do next.
