Howl was relaxing in his chair, reading a book while giving the leftovers from his late night snack to Calcifer as he smiled some. All was quiet which was nice but still something felt off. It wasn't until something caught his nose that he set his book down, standing up and stretching some before making his way towards Sophie's room to check on her. He felt very protective of her after everything that had happened between them.

It certainly made him feel sorry for her to see that she'd wet the bed. Sophie felt herself being shaken awake. "Howl?" she asked sleepily. "What is it? What's going on?" She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"You ok Sophie?" Howl asked, gently stroking at Sophie's hair before gently lifting the sheets off of her. "I don't think you have ever wet the bed before. But don't worry. I am not angry about this." He said, not wanting Sophie think that he was mad at her because of this. He was more concerned if anything.

Sophie looked down and blushed a bit, especially as Howl brought her in for a hug. "I'm so sorry. I haven't wet the bed in...four years or so." Of course, given that Sophie was almost 20, that meant she'd had this problem up until she was well into her teens.

"Its ok. I am not mad." Howl said, pulling Sophie into a comforting hug. "It sounds like you have dealt with this before. I could get you something to help if you would like." He said, wanting to do anything he could to help. He kinda felt like a father figure towards Sophie. "Let's get you cleaned up first." He said, helping Sophie out of the bed. "I will get some clean sheets on your bed."

Sophie nodded. "Thank you, Howl." She made her way over to bathe. When she was clean and in fresh pajamas, she looked at him. "Well, in the past, when I had this problem...I was sleeping in diapers." She turned away, expecting some kind of dirty look of disgust.

Howl hummed softly to himself as he cleaned up the bed, making sure everything was nice and clean for when Sophie returned from the bath. "Ah I know about those. I will buy some when we can stop at a town." He said, not seeming bothered by that. "I suppose for now you will have to sleep without one. But I promise to get you some to help." He said, pulling Sophie into a hug. "Your bed has clean sheets. I will stay if you want me to."

"I would love that, Howl." She smiled as they snuggled into bed together. It made her feel safe and cared for. "Howl...when we go into town tomorrow...I want to go see my mother and sister. It's been too long."

"We can go visit them. I am sure that they would be very happy to see you." Howl said, smiling as he got into the bed with Sophie. "If you need anything just wake me. And tomorrow we will go visit your family." He said, figuring that might cheer up Sophie some. He wanted to meet her mother anyways so he could see the one who raised Sophie. Plus he was thinking of doing something that would be a special surprise for Sophie as well.
