The Rise of Arceus ((Private for Sami-Chan and thelonegrunt))

It was morning. A very bright, shining morning, to be exact. The sun was just beginning to climb above the trees of the forest that surrounded a small huddle of buildings and homes. Atop the tallest tree landed a colorful looking bird, known by the masses as a Chatot. The bird, ready to start the day, lifted its head high and let out its cry to indicate the fresh morning to late sleepers. "Chatot! Squuuuak! Chatot!"

In one home in particular, the cries were heard clearly by one boy in question. The youth, with light blonde hair and wearing a yellow Pikachu t-shirt, opened his eyes quickly at the call and brought his head up, ready for the day. But this was not an ordinary day, not in his eyes.

There was something different about today that would reflect his character for the rest of his life. Today was the start of his own destiny. Today was the beginning of his journey.

His name was Craig, and today would be the start of him becoming the ultimate Pokemon master.

Craig thought heavily about this dream, but the twelve year-old never had the courage to just up and leave his town, and of course, his dearest mother. But things were slowly going to change today. Now would be the start of something grand, something new.

Craig, smelling the fresh scent of properly cooked eggs and bacon, immediately stood up out of bed... revealing the last portion of his clothing. He wasn't wearing anything remotely close to a pair of boxers, or even briefs. He wore a very thick, light blue diaper with yellow tapes, with prints of water Pokemon all around the front of it. However, the padding he was wearing seemed to be discolored at the front, and if he had a much stronger nose, he would have smelled something a bit nasty to compliment the cold, mushy feeling on his bottom.

The boy had a rather unfortunate past regarding this. When he was just a toddler, his mother had a cute looking Pachirisu. Craig loved the Pokemon... but the electric squirrel wasn't that fond to him. When Craig got a little too close to him one day, Pachirisu hit him with a Spark attack by mistake.
The action didn't kill or seriously injure Craig, but still had a massive effect. The spark caused the boy's internal organs to be permanently damaged, more specifically those which allowed him to control his bladder and bowels. In such a frail state from within, Craig was labeled incontinent with also severe bladder issues, having to wear diapers every single day of his life.

But he didn't think about any of this. And quite frankly he didn't care.

His day would start here, in his home of Twin Leaf Town, but perhaps it would end in a faraway land where friends, new adventures, and of course incredible Pokemon awaited him.

With a wide smile, Craig rose from his room and quickly headed down the stairs, making thunderous noises like a wild Mamoswine and heading to the delicious scent... and to the woman making it all happen.

Craig's mother couldn't help but smile as he heard the excited boy run down the stairs. This morning would mark the day her son would set off on his own journey, raising Pokemon and making friends the entire way. She herself was a trainer in her younger years, but with the problems with having a family, she was forced to quit. It wasn't a bad thing, however, as she happily took care of her little Craig and supported his dream to travel with Pokemon just as she did.

She had made sure to wake up before the boy to help him to start as early as possible; making his breakfast as he slept, packing everything he would need along the way, and most importantly items to take care of any accidents while traveling. Just thinking about him leaving made her sad, as she would be very lonely for a long time, but she was 100% sure he'd return someday. Craig's mother was proud of her son, as even at his age he was mature enough to handle this. He would be traveling with a team of strong Pokemon, so she knew he would be safe the entire way.

"My goodness!" she teased the boy as he came into her view. "You'll take down the whole house if you keep that up, heehee! I guess that's what the smell of food does to someone, huh?"

"Sure does, mama! Thanks a lot!" The little boy said with a smile, giving the woman a big hug from behind. The boy certainly was going to miss his mother, for he loved her with all of his heart. But of course, he knew for certain that he would be back someday, and more than likely in communication with her while he was away during his travels.

The boy, again, didn't acknowledge the state of his bottom half, more concerned with filling his empty stomach and being as prepared as possible to tackle the days ahead.

After greeting her, the boy sat down, shivering just a tad bit at the odd sensation but dealing with it for now as he waited patiently for the breakfast to be placed onto the table.

Since his mother had been preparing the food for an hour now, it was done in less than five minutes of him waiting. A plate was instantly made and placed in front of the hungry boy. "Be careful. It just got done. You don't want to burn your tongue and be talking funny all day, do you?"

Unlike Craig, his mother instantly noticed his diaper's condition. She had been changing the boy his entire life, so signs of him needing changed was like a sixth sense for her, and second nature nonetheless. "And when you're done, come see me; you never seem to notice you need a diaper change even after so long."

The boy, upon having the woman point it out to him, lightly blushed and looked down, now finally taking into account the feeling in his undergarment. "Oh... well it's hard to tell sometimes, mama!" The boy, in good fun, tried to defend himself, lightly tucking his shirt to try and conceal the diaper, but to not much success. The boy, knowing he couldn't hide it very strongly, grumbled and started to eat from the plate after it had cooled down a bit.

[Sami-Chan]

"It's alright." Craig's mother reassured him, smiling as she did so. "I hope you learn to change as soon as possible, though; getting a rash is not the best feeling in the world, and you know that by experience from not telling me in the past."

[thelonegrunt]

The woman was absolutely right, for there had been instances where the boy didn't even acknowledge that he was in dire need of a change. Also, he knew he was mostly dependent on his mother for this task. He had attempted to change himself once and almost had success with it... only to have the diaper taped up very loosely and have chaffing up against his skin as he walked. His mother, with that almost unconscious instinct, knew her son was having trouble and took the liberty of properly securing the diaper in place for him... taking away the chance of him independently doing it himself... which would HAVE to change today.

"Y-yeah... those kind of hurt, mama..." The boy said honestly, blushing and shivering more as continuously began to fill his tummy with the hot and delicious food. But today wasn't about diaper changes, or piping hot meals, or anything like that; today, his dreams would slowly come to fruition. The ultimate Pokemon master will be born today!

[Sami-Chan]

"Don't worry; I'll change you one last time before you head out." Craig's mother promised, both of them knowing it would be their last moment they would share before the long journey ahead of the boy. Truthfully, if she had a say in whether or not Craig was allowed to leave, she would choose for him to stay. Not because she was mean and didn't want him to fulfill his dream, but rather she would be lonely for a while. It was only her and her son living together, with relatives and friends living too far away for any regular visits. She tried to stay strong, however, as she didn't want to worry her son and had her own emotions influence his decisions. That would upset her even more. Craig was a good and trustworthy boy, so no matter what, his mother would always be there to support him throughout everything.

"Okay, mama..." Craig replied. While the boy ate, his mind slowly started to wander. He began to envision himself with all of his new Pokemon pals by his side. He would gain friends in them, learn from them, take into account the lives of other beings other than those of himself and his mother. There was so much to learn, and so much fun to be had every single day.

The boy, soon after finishing the meal, stood up with the plate and silverware, handing it to his mother with a smile.

She gladly took the dirty dishes and placed them in the sink after thoroughly rinsing them out. Without another word, Craig's mother scooted the boy in the living room, where she set up the changing mat while the boy had his breakfast. Laying him down, and once double-checking she had the needed supplies, she got to work in changing him. This would surely be the last one he would have that she would be doing, so she again hoped to herself he could manage without her.

She would savor this moment, however, and began to fully clean up the boy; wiping his diapered areas, applying powder, and taping it all back up as snug and comfortable as possible.
