(Private rp between me ;Rye and Carossa fan. Sorry it took so long to get the tread up , college has uped the workload and I've been strung tighter than a guitar string, anyway.)

Sessohomaru landed gracefully onto a pile of green leaves beside a tree , a fitting fall from the sky for the noble demon. The white haired demon shifted himself up so he was leaning against the trunk of the tree , clutching at a wound on his shoulder , it wasn't deep and was pretty easy to patch up once he got somewhere where their would be supplies he could take. He decided to rest here for a bit , at least until the bleeding stopped. He could use his Tenseiga , but it wasn't necessary. "Stupid half breed , and how shamefully of me for allowing him to bark at me that over grown puppy" he muttered, , the skirmish hadn't gone well , though he had landed a good few blows on him and was sure to have send him flying the same the half demon had done to him. He soon got up and dusted himself down , composing himself to appear overpowering if anyone or anything were to come across him if they crossed his path in his journey. His first objective was to find a settlement to find out where he was , from there he could find some powerful human lords to exploit. He started to wander off in some direction through the forest in search of something living besides foliage.

"Ugh." Inuyasha groaned in pain as he slowly opened his eyes. He immediately shut them as it hurt too much to take in the sunlight, even if it was faint. He moaned again, trying to figure out where it hurt and how badly the injuries were. He figured that: his chest was bruised, probably a cracked rib or two, right leg was painful but he figured he could walk on it, and the back of his head hurt (most likely due to the way he landed). He rolled himself over, ignoring the pain, so that his body was not painfully contorted against a broken tree.

"The bastard, who does he think he is? He's so high and mighty, the son of a bitch." Inuyasha muttered as he pushed himself off the ground, staggered, and steadied himself against another tree. He didn't really know where he was but he needed to find a village or something so he could watch himself, and his clothes, back up and then set out to find Kagome. He made sure that he had Tessaiga, which he did, and started to limp forward, following the faint scent of full-blooded human.

Sessohomaru wandered through the forest , he was a little senseless right now so he wasn't exactly scouting the area with his senses. He wandered for a bit in his usual way but had to stop every so often to lean on a tree. He had lost a lot of blood and was finding it hard to not look pathetic. Regardless he walked on. The demon spotted something through the thicket , a red blob drifting in and out of contrast. He sniffed the air and recognised the sent but he was in no condition to finish the boy off. Called out to him , standing up strait and focusing his golden eyes on the figure just ahead of him "Inuyasha....." he called to await the reply, his uncovered arm clawed and ready to defend himself if the demon attacked, wouldn't be a issue either way , after all , he was only a half demon.

Inuyasha walked on for a few minutes, maybe half an hour or so, until the human scent ceased. He groaned, not only in frustration but in pain as well. The pain in his abdomen was getting worse, he wasn't sure what it was if not a cracked rib, it made him slightly nervous. He had been through worse though, he figured he would be fine. It was at this point that Sesshomaru's aura reached him and soon after, his scent. He bristled with anger, and ignored his older brother until Sesshomaru called out to him.

"What the hell do you want?" Inuyasha barked angrily, not wanting to talk to his brother. Not only was he in pain, he was separated from his group and though he would never admit it he worried about them without him around. He was separated from Kagome and they were all ready behind, he had wanted to start looking for Naraku again a week ago but the group had persisted in letting Kagome go back home for awhile. Now he had to deal with Sesshomaru and so had been set back even more.

Inuyasha walked closer to his brother, just wanting to get another fight over with so he could get back to his group, and became concerned. Not that he would ever admit he cared for his brother, he would rather admit caring for his group, but the state Sesshomaru was in worried him. Yea they had fought but he didn't think it had been anything too out of the ordinary. He became less angry, now upset. To top off all his problems, his abdomen was getting more and more painful. Maybe one of his ribs was digging into him but it didn't really feel like that.

"No need to bare your fangs , I'm in no condition to finish you off" he said , calmly ,relaxing his hand "my senses have been impaired for now so I've been wandering around looking for a exit" he explained. He watched him as pain flickered across his face "it seems you are injured too. I can understand you wanting to get back to the..... humans. But you won't find them in your state. Might I suggest you come with me , going on your own you could be taken out by some weak creature and it would be very annoying that it would kill you before I got to" he said , it sounded like he was asking for help , but in his all to proud way of making it seem like he was offering him help. "Once we get to a civilized area you can find out where that girl is and we had go our separate ways".

The half demon glared at his older brother but was slightly concerned as well. He was concerned for a few reasons. The first was, he was actually concerned about his brother. The second was that Sesshomaru was freely admitting his impairment, even if he was still haughty about it. The third was that he so easily read him. He let out a frustrated moan and just let out a 'tsk', giving his agreement to his brother's proposal.

Actually, a fourth reason he was concerned was the pain in his stomach. It was strange, it wasn't his ribs, but it didn't feel like stomach pains either. It was getting worse which was also rather strange, if he wasn't so used to pain he might make a big deal out of it. But seeing as how he had bigger things to worry about than pain, he tried to ignore it. It's not like his stomach was the only thing that was bothering him, his arm still sort of hurt and his leg was also starting to bother him. He growled to himself, he could feel himself getting weaker as the new moon approached. He mentally berated himself for getting stuck in this situation. It wasn't like Sesshomaru was unaware, Inuyasha was pretty sure he knew when he transformed but it sucked that both were weaker than normal. "Tonight's gonna suck." Inuyasha muttered to himself as he started to walk behind Sesshomaru.

"I'll take that as a yes" he said turning round to start walking. But he paused "can you still walk?" he asked , if he couldn't then it would be annoying and he would have to carry him, that or he could always let him crawl after him. Sessohomaru wasted no time in setting off at a slow pace , he had stopped bleeding but needed first aid soon. Sessohomaru's ear twitched as he listened to his brother's comment. He did in fact know but didn't think anything of it, being his brother for some 500 years does that. He preferred his demon form , he at least looked like a full demon then even if he wasn't.

With his one question answered he headed into the forest , not expecting to find anything , he could tell he was going the right direction , even if the sent was filled with the smell of his own blood. The demon could evade trees but just barely, he would be fine by morning. The silence was a little deafening for him so he tried to make idle conversation "so , that girl you're with, what relationship do you have?" he asked , thinking it was a easy to answer question.

"Of course I can walk." Inuyasha said, aggravated at this whole situation. They travelled for awhile in silence until Sesshomaru asked a question. At first Inuyasha didn't thnk he heard him correctly, it was unlike Sesshomaru to ask him anything, let alone anything concerning Kagome. He blushed slightly as he answered. "I, uh, we...have a good relationship." Inuyasha cursed himself for floundering as he did though the question was interesting. He wasn't quite sure what he had with Kagome, they were friends sure but beyond that he wasn't sure. Especially by her different, human, standards. So he figured friends was a good answer.

"What the hell is up with?" Inuyasha asked, his curiosity needing to be satisfied. Hell, he didn't really know what was up with him either. They were both acting somewhat strange. Sesshomaru, though haughty, was not like he generally was. His healing especially bothered him, he figured he would be pretty much fine by now. His own body was strange to, this pain was seriously getting on his nerves. His attitude was also off, he wasn't sure if it had to do with the pain, his apprehension for his most weakened night soon approaching, or something else. Whatever it was, it was bugging him.

"Just making sure. I'm sure I cut you deep, who knows what the damage is" he said with a shrug "friends hrm. You've always had that compassion for the human creatures" he commented casually , thinking of his own human , feeling a microscopic pang of worry "me? Nothing at all , just making conversation. I've seen her with you a few times. I won't hold your taste in women against you , even if she is a human" he commented casually , his senses were gradually coming back and h knew he was heading the right way , he could smell human. After a while they emerged on a hill over looking a small village with a large castle at the back. Banners flew from the castle with the same insignia as on the dog demons robes. He looked over the land before starting off towards the village , intent on finding a bed , either by destroying the town or receiving it from the local lord. Sessohomaru spared no time in getting to the castle , ignoring the village , he had his eyes set on something he wanted and he was going to get it.

The half demon's jaw went slack for a second then snapped back. "Hey! What the hell kind of an attitude is that?! If you wanna kill me, you should make it quick. Don't make it drawn out and painful like this, you might not even know you killed me when we split soon!" Inuyasha barked, rather astonished by Sesshomaru's nonchalant attitude towards his wounds though he did somewhat expect it. He refrained from commenting on Sesshomaru's comments about Kagome and only nodded at his answer. When they reached he hill and saw the village, his stomach growled. He intended on getting a meal and resting for a little while then heading out to find his group as he did not want to stay in the village or the castle on his night of weakness. Then again, he didn't really want to stay out in the forest when he was defenseless either. He really hated the new moon. "You should get us some food or something." As he was in pain, and hungry, he was not thinking very clearlyso Inuyasha disregarded their normally hostile relationship and it's mannerisms.
