Cinder lay still, weakened and half awake as she was observed. She forced her eye open at the touch and looked relieved to se Salem at her bedside. she looked concerned when her vision didn't seem quite right. She tried to reach a hand up to check but stopped as it hurt to move. She tried to speak to ask, but soon found that that too was painful and impossible. "ah...m...ey.." She finally managed with a whisper to ask about her eye. Though it was clear she had only hurt herself more by attempting to do this.

Her eye looked hurt and regretful all at once. She flared her power up in anger, but soon regretted it as she felt extremely tired as a result. She looked up pleadingly to Salem as if begging her to heal her. She wondered if there had been any other damage. She wanted desperately to exact revenge, but knew that she'd be unable to anytime soon.
