Neo, who was still laid down and not paying attention turned to look when she realised she was being blamed for Ruby’s blunder. She supposed it could technically be considered her fault, she had moved the remote there, but as far as she was concerned Ruby fell because of her own stupidity. She pointed to the remote. “She tried to grab it and fell.”

The mother looked to Ruby, “Is this true?”

Cinder shifted nervously from one foot to the other once her mother left, she somehow hadn’t realised before now, possibly due to her anger during her argument with Blake, but she really needed to pee, desperately, she let out a groan and started potty dancing.
