search button not working

Every time i try to click the search button, it doesn't work

As an unconfirmed member, you have limited access to this site. You need to first confirm your account registration by clicking on the confirmation link in the e-mail that was sent by the system to your e-mail address to become a confirmed member. "Probationary User" is the first level of confirmed membership. There will still be some restrictions (e.g. - Searching within a given thread not available, maximum PMs allowed and etc) but they can be overcome as soon as you attain the next level of confirmed membership, "Junior Member" by making ten valid posts in the forum sections or gallery (Please try to leave constructive, not negative criticism). AFAIK, the forum search function ("Search" button in the right side of the menu) is available to all confirmed members. As I recall, this group policy was enacted by our previous forum leader, Xero, to encourage more activity among our community. You are still welcome to "Lurk around" if you wish (Based on your member name, that's probably what you want) as is but you will be extremely limited to what you can do. I encourage you to at least become a Junior member - Like the old Amex ad slogan says "Membership has its privileges". I hope that this helps.

I'd also like to point out that if you're on mobile, some buttons don't work unless you hold them down, and choose to 'open in new tab'. That could be what you meant. You can still use the normal search button as a probationary user, but you have to fill out a captcha each time. (Atleast, that's how it was for me back in September when I was a lurker.)

Hmm... I don't recall having to go through a CAPTCHA each time I performed a forum wide search but then again, it's been a very long time (Many years ago) since I was a Probationary User, DLeafeon. Perhaps it was part of the last group policy change that was enacted by Xero to encourage peeps to participate more in the forum and gallery. As you can see, "Just to see images", it really benefits you to become a confirmed member and then to at least achieve the rank of Junior Member after only ten posts. As a Junior Member or above, you can truly enjoy this site without any restrictions!
