A Second Chance at Youth

Walking down the street a young boy, no older then the age of five, walked dressed in a dirty oversized hoodie, with a large undershirt and a pair of shorts under that. His hood was put up as he walked down the street lost and confused. He woke up a few days ago with no memory of who he was, or why his was there. He didn't know where his mommy or daddy was and everyone he talked to seem to be disgusted by him. He asked for help, food, water, but they all just turned away from him or told him to buzz off.

As he got to the end of the block he stared in his reflection in a puddle as rain drops fell down, and looked at his red and white hair. He giggled at it a bit, as it reminded him of a pokeball, but when he got further down there was a large red burn mark on his face. He didn't know how it got there but it was really ugly.

The green haired Izuku Midoryia was leaving a store, he had just been in there getting groceries for his mom, as he stepped outside he felt raindrops splash on his head and roll down his face, so he quickly put his hood up and walked forward, but as he walked, a bit in the distance he seenice a small child, but the kid looked familiar to him, but other then that, the kid was alone, and didn't look like he was old enough to be alone, so he changed directions and walked towards the kid

The little boy looked up as he seen someone walking towards him. Being as hungry as he was he didn't feel like running away, though a few people who had walked up to him did just trip him or shove his aside because he was in his way.
"H-hello." The 4 year old said nervously as Izuku walked up to him, looking the boy on the face, "Um... Do you have any food?" He asked the boy

Hearing this, Izuku immediately assumed the kid was homeless, so he crouched down to eye level with the kid which he started recognizing more and more, "where are your parents?" He asked sounding abit worried, and then he pulled out a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich "also I was saving this for later, but you need it more" he said giving it to the small kid

"I dunno...." The boy admitted as he was asked that, taking a step back incase Izuku tried to hit him but as the sandwhich was pulled out and offered he immediately grabbed it and started to scarf it down with his dirty hands, "Fank oo!" The boy said with his mouth full and giving the teen a small bow.

"you don't know?" He said to himself "well I don't want you to get hurt or sick, wanna come with me?" He said with a smile, he really wanted to make sure this kid was ok, or even find his parents "also, what's your name?"

The boy nodded his head rapidly as he was offered to go home with the teen. Stranger danger was out of the question out of this point for him. He was cold, dirty, hungry, and extremely tired. Which with some food in his belly he showed by giving off a little yawn and rubbed his eyes. "I don't know..." He said when he was asked what his name was.

"Tired?" He asked with a smile as he stood back up, still trying to pin point who this kid was

Uh huh." He said nodding his head as he took his hood off revealing his hair, and his burnt face, "The grounds really hard .. and I can't sleep on it that well."

At this point Izuku had a hunch of who this kid was, and he picked shouto up and held him in a cradle position to keep him safe from the rain that was beginning to pour, after making sure he had shouto in a comfortable position he started jogging home
