Sogging on the Great Sea: Wind Waker (Private with theJozza)

It was about nine years after the final sinking of Hyrule Castle, and Link had stayed with Tetra, or as he knew her, Zelda's, doing odd jobs along with them, acquiring treasure and glory the likes of which the hero could never have dreamed of just six years ago. Zelda had invited him down to the bowels of her new massive ship-fortress, to speak about something. He headed down various staircases, through hallways that ranged from impressive, to ship debris nailed together. Once he finally got to the spot that looked like a proper building, he knew he was in the right place. He gave her door a knock, and waited.

Inside the room, Zelda paces beck and forth. The chamber was large, clean, and full of clearly new furnishings. However she had covered most of them in blankets so as to ease Link into what she was about to do. In the years since Ganon’s death the two had grown closer and closer, and Zelda knew she was in love, but whenever she tried to approach Link about it, all she could think of was the childhood he had lost because of her, indirectly or not. So she resolved to do something to give it back to him. Upon hearing the knock, she took a deep breath and headed for the door. (Remember) she thinks to herself (no matter how much he fights you on this, it’s for his own good) she opens the door.

He entered, looking around, noticing the fact that so much of this new room's furniture was covered in sheets. He figured she just wanted to keep dust off of whatever was underneath. "So, what is it that you wanted to talk abo... what!?" At first, he didn't quite notice it, but then it occurred to him. He was talking. It's not like he couldn't, before, but something just kept him from doing that. He looked to the back of his hand, expecting some kind of magic from his massive backhand marking, resembling the triforce, but, shockingly, there was nothing there, the marking gone entirely, "Wh-What happened, is this what you called me here to talk about?"

Zelda held up her other hand, showing that his triforce had transferred to her. "Stay calm Link. Everything is fine," Zelda says walking up to him and lay her hands on his shoulders. "I've used the power granted to me by the goddess to transfer your triforce to me for a time. Don't worry you won't need it for a while." She smiles. "It's actually quite nice to finally hear you speak."

"Th-Thanks?" He said, confused as to why she had apparently taken her power, "Sooooo, let's cut to the chase, why have you invited me here?"
He stuck out his arms and turned to look the room over, confused at the odd choice of wall paint, looking like a mural of the Kokiri forest island, and the fact that the ceiling was painted sky blue, with white, puffy clouds painted on as well.
"And what's with all the blankets?" He asked, "Surely this place isn't old enough to have dust issues?"

"I didn't want to overwhelm you," Zelda replies. "You see Link I made this room for you. You know I'll always be grateful for everything you've done for me and my kingdom and the world. But I worry about you. I worry about all these perilous adventures you've been going on. All the battles you've been fighting. And I feel guilty about the childhood you had to sacrifice for me."

"Pssshh, it's about that?" He asked, rolling his eyes, "Look, I admire the fact that you care, I really do, but whatever you have planned, I'm sure I don't need it. It's fine, it's what needed to happen, no guilt at all!"

"Well thanks Link, but I can't help how I feel," Zelda replies, disregarding his words. "Besides, I do think you need this, and I'm not taking no for an answer." She walks over to one of the covered pieces of furniture and starts to remove the blanket. "Please just trust me on this. It's what's best for both of us." She pulls back the blanket, revealing a fully stocked changing table.

"A bed with cabinets?" He asked, baffled at the strange piece of furniture that stood before him, "I don't see how that's going to help me get my childhood back?"
He was completely ignorant about most of this stuff, coming from a poor island family, where he grew up rather quick. He would likely need most things explained to him.

Zelda rolls her eyes at his response. “Oh Link, sometimes it’s kind of adorable how clueless you can be,” she sighs and reaches into the side of the table. “This is what’s called a changing table. A piece of furniture designed to help change,” she pauses as she pulls out a folded cloth diaper. “Diapers, I trust you’re getting the message now?”
