staying in a d. for more than a day?
Hello,
I was just thinking how it would be to stay in a diaper for more than a day (perhaps a weekend). Obviously it would have to be a very STUFFED one or some huge cloth one. Have any of you tried it before? Think this could be a cool idea.

Be careful you don't go getting a rash and I would only recommend it with a very good diaper and a few inserts. I want to do it myself and I have tried but I always end up leaking :/

Really should not try it, no matter how well padded you think you are there is always the chance you will leak

I've done it before, you'll want to get the most absorbant diapers you can. I don't know how it is with others but I was blessed with a funny bladder, on the average day I only go twice, and I'd put them at medium wettings. If your afraid of leaks I'd recommend double diapering (Its super fun anyway. X3) or plastic panties/pants to go over them. By the end of a 24 hour period it didn't feel so great and I was glad to change into a clean one. :\ Best of luck to you!
Almost forgot, use a good deal of powder to avoid diaper rash, as Llama stated, I got it once and it SUCKED.

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated.
So what brands would you recommend as a base (not for stuffers)? How do you think putting a few Goodnites on with slitting small holes in them to let liquid come through after awhile to the next one, and on those have incremental size up after size of large adult diapers full of stuffers? I know it would be BIG, but that is not an issue.

as long as you have bambinos there is a great way to stuff that I never have had leaked, if you cut off all but the part that absorbs from the goodnight and then cut the front plastic panel of the bambino to slide the goodnights in and then using masking tape to cover the hole in the bambino it works great from my experience, and also if youre wearing for a whole day just dont drink tons of water, only when you actually get thirsty

It really depends on how much water you are planning to drink.
I usually would fill up to the point where I would go twice a hour. No way could I stay in a diaper for a day without leaking by doing this.
If you drink none at all, your urine will be more concentrated, complete with more stink and a higher chance of irritation.

Another thing you have to worry about is the sweat you'll produce. Simply wearing for about 12 hours makes my hips itchy from the heat and lsts for about 30 mins. The plastic is twice s thick there because of the overlap. I'd powder that area every couple of hours. Cloth backed diapers at least for me do help. I know that Medline (Medline owns the brand Molicare. Go to Adult Briefs once on the site: http://www.medline.com/incontinence/) now make the Molicare Super where the sides don't have plastic. So the "wings" don't have plastic, but the rest of the diaper still does. This is only for the Super that they did this as far as I know.
This entire post done by on-screen keyboard.
