After the man left, the tone of the conference became more civil. Another reporter asked a question for both Violet and Daisy. "Do you expect that you'll command the same respect that you've had as trainers and gym leaders?" Violet thought for a moment. "Believe me when I say that we all regret what happened, and that especially we're sorry that Misty had to suffer, but we're gonna move on and ensure that challengers from all corners will always come to battle us for years to come."
