I thought it would be a good idea to start a rolling thread based around the comic ive currently been uploading.
It can be a place to not only discuss the comic but to answer questions people might like to ask or discuss...

Itll also be the place that i advertise when cameo appearances are available. I will say cameo appearances arent free but theyre not hugely expensive either (usually between 10-30 dollars depending on how many pages your character would appear and whether they have a speaking part etcetc) but yeah so this is just a thread for all things shine related really.

I dont know how many people follow the comic on furaffinity but basically this is really the only other place i properly upload the comic to so its only fair i give you guys the same opportunities as those folk over on fa.

I do like your comic, I think you handle it very well with good characters and design built with good effort and characters. I hope it continues to go well for you and you end up completing it.

So question, seeing its the most thing brought with this comic, anything you got to say about a good amount of your audience not being a furry but loving your comic just as much as any other abdl thing?

I was wondering how you came up with all the character looks that aren't cameo's,I'm just wondering as from my understanding for most official artists in the comic,manga,cartoon and sometimes anime world its a daunting task to make so many different looking characters even more so when you give them a backstory

Truthfully i honestly dont see the difference in furries and non furries when it comes to ageplay we are all just entities indulgibg in an age different fetish. In much the same way people dont mind that bugs bunny is ahumaoid bunny or that the tmnt are humanoid turtles i think so long as characters portray human emotions and characteristics then people can relate to them.

Whats more surprising is the amount of people who have contacted me telling me that ageplay/diapers is not their thing whatsoever but that stars exploration into her kink is enthralling enough that theyve become hooked on the comic lol thats more interesting than the furry/nonfur side of things

Actually allll the characters in shine are cameos every single one of them so i didnt have to invent any of them other than star herself who is me lol.

I have been reading your comic on fur affinity for a while now. It's adorable. The dialog is very human as are the characters, and watching Star explore a fetish and slowly going deeper and deeper and actually wanted to go deeper is great character development.

Hey I just wanted to tell people...that my patreon pledges went over the amount that i need to actually publish shine. So I am working on book one now, which will be pages 1-114 plus a heap of additional content like alternative dialogue pages and some art pieces. This will be available eventually as hard copy book as well as hopefully in kindle and pdf versions.

Its all pretty exciting so fingers crossed. Thanks heaps to everyone who is supporting me on this project, not just in a monetary sense but just in support, knowing people read and enjoy the comic helps to keep the creative juice flowing so I really appreciate it all. Fankyoo
