"I think I see something above, right near those gold rings! Something red!" Mint said causing the other two to look up. "Wait it looks like that one that we saw earlier.!" The small grey cat figures.

"How are we suppose to get up there?" Crystal asks, causing Tate to get an idea.

"Hold onto Min Crystal, we're performing the carnaval swing slingshot!" He said as Crystal sweats nerviously and holds on to the child that doesn't understand what they are doing.

The blue cat gives the other two a blue glow and spins around while building momentum. He doesn't get dizzy as he had practiced this before, the other two... Not so much. 'Remember to not lose them you two!' He tells them in their mind. Soon be throws them while they scream and keep a blue aura around them. Tate does stop them and lands them on the building softly near where they saw that pokemon. 'I'll have to get slowly up there it seems.' Tate thinks to himself.

Crystal drops down and tries to regain her composure, unlike Min who cheered "Again again" at the thrown. "Shut up and stay focused. That eeveelution shouldn't have gotton fair." She tells the child as she tries to gain back her sight to find the black pokemon.

The Umbreon was waiting with what looked like a black recurve bow in his paws, "Follow this." He then ran off the other end of the building, jumping off the edge. A sharp metal impact sound resonated through the air, and then there was a sound of footsteps down below the roof

"Ok more parknor, welp lets try to follow him." Crystal said as she picks up the kitten and tries to follow the dark pokemon. As soon as she jumps off the roof she asks Min- "Where did they go Min?" She asks as the obervent cat takes a quick look and concludes her answer in seconds...

Tate was still climbing...

The Umbreon drew the bow back again, firing another arrow at the ground beneath the psychic cats' feet. The projectile beeped 3 times, and exploded in a flash and a puff of smoke followed by a loud, high-pitched noise. When the smoke cleared, the Umbreon was nowhere to be found

When the arrow was near, the two cats eyes widen. The arrow wasn't meant to kill but did help the Umbreon get away. Before it went off, Min got frighten and teleported another negboring roof. The flash went off and they were not blind... But they did suffer a small fall due to each roof being a different size, like two floors.

The landing was harsh but they survived. "You can teleport?" Crystal asks.

"I've been working on it but can only go small distances." The cat explains as they look around for the golden ring pokemon but with no luck. "We got this far, we can't give up now." They said as looked at the dark pokemon previous location.

Tate was still catching up.

What laid on the ground was a little note on a piece of paper shaped like an Umbreon's head, and the message written on it read, "Maybe next time, suckers!"

Min sees the note, reads it and gets an annoyed look. "I'm a kid and I don't call people names." They said, annoyed.

Crystal sees the note and laughs. "Oh, and I thought I was a rookie! Hahah." She said, receiving a confused look. "He had that, he had to touch it, it leads to being evendece that will help us finding him. It's great." She said and receives a small smile from the child. "Looks like we aren't done."

Tate arrives to their location, breathing in large amounts of air. "Sorry it took awhile, did I (breaths) miss anything?" He asks.

"We're done today, but we continue tomorrow." Min said as the group starts leaving the roof.

The Umbreon was watching from another rooftop, tail swishing behind him. He smirked as he knew what would happen to their searching. And then he ran off in the shadows, and out of sight

The problem was, even though there was a little bit of DNA on the paper, it actually didn't have a match. No matter what database was searched, no results would come up. As if the Eeveelution didn't exist

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT NOTHING!" Crystal and Tate yell.

"I mean there is DNA on this but I cannot find it on anyone in this town." The DNA pokemon said as it uses a tenticle to give back the note.

"How is that possible when we saw them?" Crystal asks.

"Well I don't have it identified, I'm sorry." The red and blue alien said.

The cats leave the lab. "I can't believe we still haven't been on track. Is it so wrong we want to find them for what they did?" Crystal asks.

"We aren't giving up!" Tate tells her with confidence.

"Handwriting, type of paper, way someone talks we aren't done till we actually meet these guys... Or girls. I swear I can't tell." The no gender identified cat said.

So they kept looking for more eveidence.

The only other evidence on the scene was the grappling arrow embedded in the building that the Umbreon had used to get down so fast, and the flashbang arrow. Both of which had been purchased at the same company, an offshore brand called Hood's Archery. This would get them nowhere as there wasn't anything else to go further on

However, the paper from the note was from a local company called Scribbles Inc., and from a very specific kind of paper. It was only sold and manufactured in one place - the company's warehouse. Finally, something to go on
