Total Drama Mansion (Private with Princess Goomba)

About five years after the original Total Drama Island, and the franchise is in trouble. After a slew of various lawsuits and investigations, the producers and host are left unsure where to take the show next. However, from seemingly nowhere they are saved by a millionaireress.

Susana Bishop, an award winning writer, actress, and designer purchases the entire Total Drama franchise, including all rights to the previous shows. In an even bigger shock to the entertainment world she announces that she intends to start a whole new season with herself as the host. Moreover, this time the stage will be in her own mansion, a three story house with everything from a tennis court to olympic size swimming pool. However, she also makes it clear that this season will cater to more of an, "mature" audience as instead of public TV it will be aired on an exclusive streaming sight for adult movies. When it's revealed that the cast will be composed of 8 of the original female teens from season 1, now in their twenties, every celebrity magazine in the country is on fire. So you can only imagine what's going through the minds of the 8 young women as a line of limousines carries them up the massive driveway towards the enormous mansion, with their new hostess waiting to greet them in a silk velvet colored dress, a glass of wine in her hand, and a look of smug excitement.

Of course whatever they're imagining, it's nowhere near what she has in store for them.

Of course, each one of them had their own thoughts about all of this, but for the time being we find ourselves with Gwen. She had been, somewhat reluctant to get back into all this craziness after the initial run of 'Dramas' she'd been apart of, but with a new host, a new angle, and a more mature audience, she figured it was worth trying one more time. At the very least the exposure would help with her various online shows. The first major difference between this new Drama, and the last, was the limo she was currently riding in. This woman had class, that's for sure, and way more money than Chris ever did apparently. Once the limo came to a stop, Gwen got out and began heading to the mansion, knowing her luggage would likely be set wherever she was supposed to be staying.

The next limo came up after Gwen's and Katie stepped out. Katie hadn't really enjoyed as much limelight as the other contestants, due to being in less of the shows. Of course this didn't bother her all that much, her current annoyance was that her best friend Sadie wasn't with her, right now. They each had to take a separate limo up there, and as such she was solo for now. She was tempted to wait for Sadie's limo to walk with her, but she also didn't want to end up getting herself ousted while Sadie was still in if waiting did that, and after the other times she'd been on this sort of show, she figured waiting around would just be a liability and headed in.

The next limo to rock up had Beth exiting, happy to be there on a show no longer headed by a lunatic, she figured it would be a good chance to have some fun, and the fact that it was girls only meant that all the relationship drama involving boys could be left on the wayside. Though that did leave plenty of room for relationship drama with girls.. Beth definitely had a few ulterior motives in her mind for this. Especially as she'd discovered more about herself in the past few years. She too made her way up to the mansion.

The next limo pulled up and out stepped Heather. She knew exactly why she was here. Money, figuring her odds were going to be so much better with an all female cast, though, all those females were likely people she knew. Sighing to herself, she wondered why she was putting herself through this all again, but then she remembered, money. At least with fewer contestants she figured she had a decent shot at winning over the others. Not to mention this more 'mature' show was bound to have something to do with sex appeal, after all, why would it be mature otherwise? If there was any department she knew she won it, it was the looks department, so that had her hopes high for this show as she headed into the mansion.

The fifth limo parks and out steps Bridgette. Upon seeing Heather she immediately turns away, but quickly waves to Gwen and Beth. Her and Geoff had kept some contact with their fellow former contestants, but for the most part they, particularly her, had tried to work themselves away from the celebrity life. This had proven a good idea and they had both been doing well with Geoff becoming a professional Event Planner and Bridgette a surf instructor, while their relationship was stronger than ever. So strong that Bridgette was considering asking Geoff a certain question, hence why she was here, after all weddings aren't cheap.

The next limo unloaded Sadie, who naturally made a beeline straight for her BFBFF Katie. As she'd made it a little longer than Katie she felt a bit more motivated to tackle this challenge, and she felt that she owed it to Katie in some regard. After all, she'd never told her this but she always blamed herself for Katie's elimination back in season 1, and had been more than a little frustrated that the two of them had never been given a second chance in the proceeding seasons. This time she resolved to go all the way.

The next limo unloads Lindsey, who upon seeing the gigantic mansion her eyes light up and she becomes so entranced that she trips. However, she quickly regains her footing and runs after the other girls, shouting hellos and giving out hugs, except to Heather of course. Lindsay was in some ways the least different of all of them, still the good hearted person she'd always been, and perhaps a little scatterbrained. However, she had been accepted into her dream design college and intended to use this new season as a way to inspire herself to take the fashion world by storm whether she won or not.

The eighth and final limo stops and out steps Courtney. She walks slowly and methodically up the the path, not trying to catch up to the girls, but also not being that much slower. Some of them give her a berth, but also very sympathetic looks. For most of them the last they'd heard of/from Courtney was that she'd given one last attempt to have a relationship with Duncan, and this time it had ended worse than all their previous attempts combined. Of course the only one of them who knew the full details of how bad it got was Gwen, who Courtney greets first. The two had kept at least correspondence up, and had been slowly rebuilding their friendship over the last few years. Soon enough, all 8 contestants are clustered

"Welcome my darling contestants," The hostess steps forward throwing up her arms. She snaps her fingers and a swarm of maids and butlers runs past them, carrying all their luggage inside. "I am Susana Bishop, and I welcome you to my home and a new dawning of Total Drama. I can assure you, that it will be an experience unlike anything you had in this franchise's gutter period."

"Thank goodness for that." Gwen mentioned at the introduction. Thinking about all the horrible things they had to endure in previous seasons was already bad enough. Gwen had seen everyone who came in after her, she wasn't all that surprised to be honest, she did wonder if it was being kept smaller on purpose. She supposed if this did well than Susana here could pull similar shows with the other cast members, and if it did go well, those cast members would also see how much better it was than when Chris was running things.

Katie was already standing next to Sadie, holding her friends hand as they stood together. She didn't know how this was all going to end up, but she was hopeful she and Sadie would make it to the end, she would absolutely split the winnings with Sadie if she won. She was looking at all the contestants, and she was pretty chill with everyone here. Even Heather wasn't that big of a deal to her.

Beth was just looking at Susana Bishop, now that was a woman who knew how to do things. She could feel her heart fluttering just looking at her. Of course, all the fellow girls around her also had her pretty interested. She hadn't quite kept in contact with most of them, but this could be a good way to turn things around, Heather wasn't someone she cared for, but she mostly just felt pity for her at this point. Though she was somewhat surprised to see Courtney of all people here, a more 'mature' Total Drama didn't seem like it would be Courtney's thing.

Heather was eyeing Susana, knowing that this woman was to be their host, she had thoughts about trying to suck up to her, but this woman wasn't a fool, in fact, she was in the role Heather wished she could be in, being a fabulously rich woman who could afford to spend money on what amounted to a vanity project for sure. Though if Susana knew what she was doing, this would likely be a real money spinner for her, Chris had certainly milked it decently, and that guy was a moron. Though Heather's biggest thought was what the 'mature' content would be. It wasn't just a game of all girls for no reason after all.

"That being said," Susana says, as she takes a sip and then starts to pace in front of the girls with a bit of a hungry look in her eye. "I hope you aren't expecting that this will be easy. You were all made aware through your contracts that this production will be far more intense than anything you've had before, in every sense of the word," she pauses to suggestively lick her lips, "and the stakes will be much higher as well. I trust you all had the foresight to read the terms carefully? After all," she points out the door where all the limos have left, "you cannot back out now."

"I did want to specify on that a little," Bridgette says stepping forward. "The contract said that this could end with all of us being eliminated, in which case we'd all be obligated to take on long term contracts as...."entertainers" her?" She says, raising an eyebrow. "I mean to be fair that's kind of a broad term. Would we dancers or something?"

"Or something, dear," Susana says, walking right up to Bridgette and tapping her nose. "But we'll get to that in a moment." Susana chuckles and steps back, while Bridgette simply retreats back to the line, her eyes wider. Just being that close to her was enough to make Bridgette go a little weak in the knees but actually being touched... This woman was definitely nothing like Chris, but Bridgette wasn't sure if that was good or bad now.

For the whole conversation, Sadie felt herself reflexively tightening her grip on Katie's hand and pulling her closer. That part of the contract had scared her, and seeing this woman in person only amplified those fears. She wanted her and Katie to win, but now she felt almost more concerned with keeping Katie safe.

Lindsey didn't react much to Susana's speech, to be honest she was in a bit of daze. The decor and style of the mansion, to say nothing of Susana's breathtaking wardrobe itself was exactly the kind of stuff she hoped to design someday. (Maybe if I work for her as an...whatever it is she said, I could eventually get transferred to her design department!) Lindsey thinks excitedly, now wondering if it would be better to get eliminated.

Courtney maintains her composure, and walks over to Bridgette laying her hand on her friends shoulder and helping her to calm down. "Well Miss Bishop, I think I speak for all of us when I say that we would like to see exactly what this "or something is"," Courtney says in her classic confrontational tone. "After all if you really don't intend to string us along like our previous host, now's your time to prove it."

"Very well, but first," She snaps her fingers and several servers come forward with with glasses for each contestant. "A toast to the new program." One of the servers tops of her glass and she raises it.

"Yeah, I was also curious about that little bit." Gwen mentioned, though unlike Bridgette, she had a better idea of just what kind of 'something' they might end up being. She was prepared for it, but she was hopeful it wouldn't come to that exactly. Besides, what were the odds they all lost anyway? Being unable to back out was standard enough though, picking up the glass offered to her she'd drink when Susana did, raising it slightly for the toast.

Katie could feel Sadie's grip tightening on her hand, she used her other hand to gently grab hold of Sadie's arm, both to reassure her, and to get her to ease up on the vice grip Sadie had on Katie's own hand. The part about 'something else' had Katie's attention, it had been something she noted, but she hadn't figured it would matter, surely someone would win. She had to take her hand off of Sadie's arm to grab the drink though, sniffing at it as she tried to guess what it may taste like.

Beth was more intrigued in the 'something else' than the others exactly because she didn't know what it entirely entailed, given the mature theme's here, she could only assume it would be something of a similar nature, and possibly with a more private touch? Given Susana hadn't disclosed it initially, it had to be something a bit too over the edge, otherwise why hide it? Beth took her glass and waited until Susana drank to drink hers.

Heather didn't really care. "Yeah yeah." Was her only response as she took the glass offered to her and downed it in one go. This would be a good way to get her into things going forwards, after all, she had one of the biggest uphill battles to make in regards to her standing with all the other girls here. Hopefully she'd pull through.

"All right then," Susana says with a grin, "Follow me," she turns and walks for a massive staircase at the back of the foyer. The girls all start following her, a few clustering together. At the top of the stairs, the floor opens up into a sort of common area with a half circle of easy chairs all spaced apart likely so that a person sitting in one can't see the other. On the far side is a huge set of double doors.

"This is where we'll be casting votes," Susana says, walking to one of the chairs and holding up a tablet. "And once you're eliminated you'll go through there," she points to the doors. "where you'll be spending the rest of the challenge...and longer if no one manages to win."

"Okay, and what exactly does it look like behind those doors?" Bridgette asks slightly raising her hand.

"I thought I'd save that surprise for after the first challenge," Susana says with a sly smile. "But right now I think it's best if we get our teams selected since we're all here. After all now that you've all finished your drinks we can see who was randomly chosen to be our captains." All the girls look into their empty wine glasses.

"I assume it's this?" Courtney says, as she holds out her glass causing a pearl to fall out into her open palm.

They followed her until they were in the back, most of them assuming that this would be some sort of meeting area, which was shortly confirmed by Susana as the voting area. Turning their attention to the other doors that Bridgette pointed out, feeling more curious as to the secrecy of it.

Heather briefly grabbed her throat as she realized she'd downed her entire glass without knowing about the pearl, but only had to worry about the possibility of having swallowed it for a second when Gwen held up a pearl of her own.

"So, team captain. Which one of us picks first?" Gwen asked as she held up her pearl. Wondering if it really had been random, or if she and Courtney had been picked preemptively to be the team captains. Part of her thought it could be random, but it was more likely that Susana knew who would end up with the pearl glasses.

Heather was a bit miffed that she hadn't been a team captain, but she didn't let it show to much. Not that it really mattered, it wasn't as if either of the current team captains were on better terms with her than the other.

Beth was a little annoyed she didn't get to be a team captain, and she was honestly hoping she was on Gwen's team more than Courtney's, not that she disliked Courtney, but, well, Courtney had been kind of bossy in the past.

Katie held onto Sadie's hand more tightly as the team captains were chosen, hoping that whoever picked Sadie, picked her as well, or however the picking process worked, she just wanted to be on a team with Sadie.

"Well first you two can come on up to the front, and everyone else can take a seat," Susana directs and soon the two captains are standing on either side of her while the other girls are seated in the easy chairs. "Now then," she turns to Courtney, "You did speak up first so why don't you take the first pick."

"All right," Courtney replies with a nod, then she turns to look over the other contestants. "I'll take Bridgette." Courtney says calmly. She seems to be in her "competitive mode" now, thinking purely in terms of strategy, a mode the girls are familiar with from her. After all, she and Bridgetter were on a team together for most of season one so they know each other and their capabilities pretty well and besides, she knows Bridgette is trustworthy

Bridgette smiles and stands up, walking over to Courtney. She hadn't really had much preference as she's on good terms with both girls. Honestly, she's more worried about getting stuck on a team with someone like Heather, but even if that happens she knows that she can count on Courtney to keep her in line. And while Courtney can be a bit bossy Bridgette knows her well enough that she's aware it's better to be with her than against her in a contest.

Lindsay on the other hand is completely zoned out as she's marveling over how comfy the chair she's sitting in is. She runs her hands over it, to both get a feel for the material and the way it's laid out. The more and more she sees of this house the more she feels she never wants to leave as there's so much she can learn and enjoy.

Sadie of course grips Katie's hand just as tightly. After all how can she protect Katie if she's on the other team?

Gwen, being second to pick, decides to go with. "Beth." Though Gwen realized, that picking second meant she would have the last pick, which almost certainly meant she would end up with Heather on her team, just great. She'd picked Beth without much reason, she honestly had no idea how this would all shake out so picking any of the girls based on their skills didn't matter so much. After all, if there were going to be mature themes, Gwen didn't really have any basis for that from the previous seasons.

Beth heard her name called and made her way up to stand by Gwen, happy to be on Gwen's team instead of Courtney's, though if Heather ended up on their team she might change her tune. She was curious as to what Courtney and Gwen were thinking about though.

Heather was almost certain she was going to be picked last, so she basically tuned out for the moment, knowing she was going to be waiting for everyone else to be picked.

Katie could feel Sadie's grip tightening. With only so many girls, the odds of them both being on the same team were quite low. In fact, she would know if she would be on the same team with Sadie after the next two picks at most.
