Trixie was confused even more. She didn't understand. Apparently this was not a standard practice among ponies, or maybe Twilight and Rarity just had perfect home lives growing up. Oh well. When Rarity decided to end the discussion, Trixie simply sipped her tea politely and did not continue it. When Twilight nuzzled against her, Trixie didn't move out of it, but she was slightly unsure why it was being given. Oh well, all these ponies were fairly crazy to Trixie. The way they acted, Twilight and her friends. Even Trixie had gone mad by now.

Twilight and Rarity for now chose too drop the subject and instead focus on loving company. Twilight was becoming more and more affectionate, but given Trixie's past that was probably all she needed to overcome her old self and truly start anew. It seemed that things had worked out with Rarity and she even looked over Trixie with a careful eye. "Tell you what, as a piece offering I'll make you a dress, one that will conceal your.... garments while accenting your eyes. What are your measurements?" Rarity asked with a small smile.

Trixie didn't much mind the affection, though she did find it odd. When Rarity asked for her measurements, she drew a blank. "Uhm. Trixie does not know them. Trixie hasn't ever worn a formal dress or any such thing. She has only ever used her cape and hat during performances." she answered, never having owned a dress. She never had a reason to own one before now. And even now, it was only to help hide this stupid diaper.

Rarity gasped dramatically at that, for a mare to never own a dress?! That was like a crime against ponyhood. "Oh my stars Darling we need to get you measured right away! For a mare as beautiful as yourself to never own a dress is a crime!" She stated as she quickly grabbed many bolts of cloth in her magic and slowly started to draw up something so she could have a concept to refer to.

Twilight was rather surprised by that as well and slowly started to size Trixie up with careful eye. Only once Rarity was turned away did she lean in to whisper in Trixie's ear. "I think you would look rather good in a dress Trixie." She said with a small giggle, standing to her hooves and trotting to the small stage. "Come on Trixie, I think something Purple would look good, designed like you old cape." She said with a small smile. This way she could have something if they attended a formal event together; and when she was finally able to perform in front of the princesses and herself.

Trixie was still very much confused. Could you blame her? Here was a pony, who apparently didn't think it very fitting that Trixie would not have a dress. It's not like Trixie minded not having a dress. It wasn't something that could be warn everyday, and if you got it dirty or torn, you'd practically have to get a new one. Not to mention it could get in the way while preforming. Trixie watched as Rarity moved cloth all over the place as she listened to what Twilight said. And the next thing Trixie knew, she was being led by Rarity, to goodness knows where with all this cloth in tow.

Rarity on the other hoof thought this was a great idea. In her opinion, every mare needed to own a dress; it was like a right of passage. Twilight on the other hoof just thought a proper dress would suit Trixie perfectly. "Now just step up here Darling and let me get some measurements." Rarity said, slipping her glasses on and levitating over a roll of measuring tape. "Now do you prefer purple or a indigo shade?" She asked as she slowly stretched the tape out.

Trixie, really didn't care. Owning a dress had never really been on her list of things to do. And if she was getting it for free, then she just didn't care what it was. "Is there a difference?" Trixie asked, not exactly certain what the difference between the colors was. Wasn't indigo the same color as purple? Trixie didn't know, it wasn't her top priority to know such things.

Rarity sighed a little and was about to open her mouth when Twilight spoke. "Make it purple Rarity, and with some room to grow a bit." She said, getting a nod from Rarity, who slowly wrote each and every measurement down. She slowly started to cut the cloth onto the proper measurements, sewing them together with careful stitches. The ending product was a purple garb that had stars on the hems and rounded cuffs on the top, splitting just before it reached the floor into beautiful accents, a single sapphire of Trixie's cutiemark laying th the center of the chest. I would clearly hide her diaper and make her look elegant and regal. Rarity held the dress up for Trixie to critique.

Trixie watched with rapt attention as Rarity went along with making the dress. It was somewhat neat to watch. The scissors and needles flying all over the place as the dress began to take shape. And the finished product was absolutely stunning. It was so beautiful. Trixie really didn't think she could think of it in any other way. "Wow, it looks simply beautiful. Trixie has never seen a dress like this before, though Trixie hasn't really seen many dresses in her life. But still, this is very nice." Trixie commented.

Twilight smiled at Trixie;s reaction like that and brought a box over with her magic. "Indeed it is Rarity, you've outdone yourself." She stated, making Rarity blush as she helped pack it up, stopping midway with ab idea of her own. "Hmm we do still have Applejack to visit, would you like to wear it over there Trixie?" She asked with a small smile. That would give her a chance to try it, and give Twilight a reason to see how it looked on her.
