as Julie drove into the mall's parking lot, she noticed strollers in a holding cage nearby. Julie managed to remove one of them that had been built for two. she first put Kirstie in the back seat and Katie in the front.

"now don't be a back seat driver Kirstie!" Julie said, injecting dry wit and humor into the scene to put her little girl at ease, expecting to hear laughter and giggles from the two little girls.

"leave the driving to mommy!" she added with a bit of a giggle.
