Lily blushed at her sisters joke but smiled a bit. Let me be stereotipica or once she thought and chukeled thinking how unseusal she was.

When they entered the store Lily cringed there was so much pink. One side o the store was all boys cloths which were mostly blue and the other ws girls which was mostly pink and yelow.

Lily saw something she liked on the boys side and wandered over quickly and picked it out in her size.She came back quickly to her sister not wnating to be away from her. She had bicked out a green top ( green was relal her colour) which had a smily face on the frunt and a rowny one on the back

Lucy had been eyeing up a yellow sun dress, it was sleeveless and had a slightly shorter hem that what the Ponds probably would have prefered her to look at but the floral decoration was mesmorising, the whole dress was strewn with delicate silk daffodils, dasiy, yellow poppies and single large fabrick sunflower at the bust.
She dared not pick it out from racks though, because the one she was looking at was being displayed agains a mirror, worn by a featurelss mannequin.
That meant it was probably one of the more exprensive iteams the shop had on offer in their range because they wanted to sell them.
Lucy cursed her girlish weakness for pretty things.
Thankfully her sister arrived to distract her with... what was that she had picked out?

Lucy felt kind of dissapointed when she realised what direction her sister had just returned from, what was her averison to wearing clothes that were actually designed to make girls look good? Well at least she had picked out a good colour, not all hope was lost.

"Are you going to go try it on?" she asked her. She pointed out to were the changing rooms were. Lucy wanted a few more minitues to commit the beautiful sun dress to memory, so that she could wear it in her dreams tonight, before going and looking for something more reasonably priced and practical.

Lily smiled at her sister and nodded but noticed she was looking at a very pretty dress. Lily wasn't her sister to have nice things but they have never had the money to get it. Now they may. She picked out the dress and said.

"I will go try this on if you try that on"She said smiling and held it up to her. "It will look great on you"She said

Jack was looking at some smart cloths for the girls to wear to school. He turned and saw the girls talking. The dress Lily was holding up was lovely...but a tiny bit short but if it was worn with thick legings Jack could be ok with it but what else was Lily holding. Jack sighed reilzing it was a t shirt from the boys area

"It's a deal!" Lucy answered without hesitation, grabbed one in her size off the racks and impatiently hurrying as fast as she could walk to the changing rooms.
She ogled at herself in the mirror. It really was just a pretty dress and with her flaxen coloured hair and the slight colour in her skin she really didn't look bad in what was otherwise an overpoweringly yellow dress.
'I will never be able to take this off now.' Lucy thought to herself, she just loved it so much. It looked like she was going have to beg Jack and Violet to let her leave the store with it otherwise their was a risk she would try to come back after dark and steal it.
Then she looked at the price tag. She almost choked a sob of dispare. It was was almost £60 pounds. Nothing in the kids range (for the dress for 16 year olds) costed that much and most adult clothes were only about £40.
"Oh." she fretted, twiddling her fingers and bending her knees so her upper body bobbed up and down in the mirror.
"I still have to have it." she declared and walked out of the changing room to see what the others thought. There was an awful lot of leg showing but she wasn't as self concious about that as she was with the price.

Violet was looking for Lily. She had an armful of clothes for both girl's to try.
She spied Lily coming out of one of the changing rooms in a baggy looking top. Didn't she know her clothe size? Then Violet realised it must have been a in a boys cut, she seemed to deflate like a balloon and wondered how she was ever going to cope with the tomboy.
Her best bet was some diplomacy.

"That's a nice colour on you Lily." she said genuinely without bringing any attention to fact it was boys clothing. She went through the clothes she had picked out a party flock in a similar colour. It was a party flock. A ruffled frilly party frock with a poofy skirt.
"Why don't you try this on aswell and see if you like it?"

Lily smiled at herslef in the mirror. This shirt was just tight enough at the chest to show hers off. Baggy at the bottom of the tummy and the arms to hide her flabby bits but nice an straight so her "2pack" as she called it could be seen.

She came out. She smiled shyly whens he said the colour was nice on her. When she saw yhe flock she cringed. "Um stuff like that really isnt me I rather more pratical and comfay cloths."She said. She deiced to have a look at the stff she picked up the only one she liked was a smark warm jaket which was nice and fitted and kinda cute because it was soft. "This is all right"She said holding it up

Jack cringed as he saw Lily. He liked little girls to be as preety as they could Lily was a very pretty girl but was hiding it. When he saw Lucy he smield a bit. She was very pretty in that but the lengh did bother him. "Thats nice sweety but maybe a bigger size would work or if you baught some leggings with it it's kinda on the short side"He said in a firnedly but still fatherly manner

Lucy beamed happily at Jack's compliment but quickly felt her hopes being dashed as he continued. She couldn't go a size up because then her figure would be lost in the extra fabric, she may aswell wear a pretty curtain instead. She could live with the leggings though, some thick white ones might look good.
Her mind deviously worked up a propsition before Jack could ask about the price.
"If I get leggings with it then can I have the dress?" she asked trying to sound innocent and sweet.
When she thought about it though it was actually kind of sweet that he was considerate about her modesty in a fatherly way, she hadn't had anyone to do that for her in a long time and it made her feel bad about trying to swindle him.

Violet was dissapointed Lily wouldn't even try the frock but at least she wasn't entirely unresponsive, she had found something she liked in the pile, and that was certainly a sign she was starting to come out of her shell a little. Nothing like retail therepy to help a girl with her troubles.

"That should look handsome on you." she remarked as she considered the smart jacket. Prohaps that was the key to finding clothes for Lily, smart masculine types of clothes like trousers, dinner shirts and jackets but all with a feminine design to them. It would be a subtle way to start girlifying Lily.
"Well I'll go leave these ones for your sister and put the rest back if your not interested. Do you want to come with me and look for some more things you like?"

Lily was feeling better than she was earyer her sister had cheered her up alot knowing she was there for her meant she didn't have to be quite as agressive. She still wasn't going to be all friendly with them.

She nodded a little not able to think of another awnser and walked with her down the middle of the ille between the boys and the girls area. As she walked she saw somthing she liked in the girls. In the casual area there was a off red a kinda pastole coloursed hoodie with a white zip and white string to tighten the hood. She picked that up and tried on a medeum.She could fit a small but it was too tight for her tast. She smiled when she saw it fit nice.

Jack smiled at how cute this little girl was. He had a feeling the dress was propbly exspensive thast why she was being so sweet but he would let the girl have one big thing each today. "Ok sure hun why don't I come find some nice leggings with you"He said smiling

"Uh, Okay." Lucy answered without thought as she went to look for them. It occured her that she might usually feel pretty uncomfortable about a guy following her around while she looked at girl clothes but for some reason with Jack it didn't seem to matter. She guessed maybe it was just because he seemed like a nice person and she was warming to him. The most important thing of course was that she had yes to dress.

A few isles away Violet was looking for things with Lily. She noticed the girl pick out a red hoodie which looked quite nice. Violet first instinct was to find a pair of dark jeans to go with the red, that was the obvious choice but she spied and coppery brown and pale orange cross patterned heavy wool skirt that would go well with the pastel tone.

"Hey Lily. How about this?" she said, lifting it up.

"Um skirts arnt my thing I haven't wore one since I was about 6"She said while also picking up a green hoodie and a gray one . "Ok which one red, green or grey?" She asked even though they were all only about £5 so she could get all of them if she wanted

Jack smiled when he saw some white ones and some light blue ones. "How about these hun?" He said and smiled widly when he say some baby blue ones with daysiys on them. "These are nice"He said smiling and held them up to her thinking she would look adorbel runnig around in the garden in these

Lily laughed merrily when she saw the childlike leggings Jack had picked out,
"Those are cute but I think I will go with the white ones." she told him believeing he was joking and shaking her head. She turned her back to him so she could look for some more things, trusting he would keep the white tights and the not the patterned blue ones like she had asked.

Violet didn't think there was anything with a woman wearing a skirt, they weren't just for little girls, although she would like to see Lily dressed like a little girl as soon as the hypnotherpy regressed her to that stage.
"I like the red one on you best but you can have one of each if you like." she remarked after noticing the price. "However you can't just wear hoodies. Lets look for some more shirts and if you won't wear skirts then we're just going to have to find some nice trousers for you."
