Lily frowned when she didn't awnser. She klnew somthing was up. She just shugged at the music box. Lily stuffed her bag down under her bed. She never unpacks seeing no poiunt as they will be leaving soon anyway.

"So wanna go and see that swing now?" She asked.

Violet smiled apprechaitively, Jack had always had a quick and sensible mind were she was full of worries.
"That should work, we'll play the relaxion tape for the first few nights though, for Lily's benefit and then switch it to bedwetting tape."
She took a sweet tasting sip of tea, it wouldn't be too long until she could start looking after the girls properly.

Lucy brightened up a bit whenever Lily reconsidered the swing.
"You bet I do. Just let me get changed first." she didn't want her special dress getting dirty so she slipped it off and put on some worn faded old jeans and plain white T-shirt.
It was almost the tomboyish sort of look that Lily would have gone for, except the jeans were of a light baby blue colour rather than a darker more masculine one and when she turned around their where glittering angel wings on the back of Lucy's shirt made of seaqins.

Jack smiled and kissed her forhead he knew she loved taking care of children and the both loved how cute little girls were. "You can show your mommy love soon hun"He said smiling

Lily smiled and nodded and headed out side without saying a word to the adults. She flung herself threw the tier swing and giggled. There was normal swings but the tier swing was kidna like the one they had when they were little. She swung on her belly with her bum in the air smiling.

Violet heard the thump of excited feet overhead, then charging down the stairs, it was nice to hear the sounds of children again, the house had felt too quiet and empty with just the two of them.
The woman rose from her seat as she heard the front door open and close again.
"I'll go put the the cassette in while they're out of the room." she announced before lightly glideing up the stairs with barely a noise of her own.

Outside Lucy was still astonished by her twin sister's acrobatics, she couldn't help but feel with a stab of jealously that if she had tried something like that she would have missed the tyre hole and landed face first in the mud. She could hardly harbour that jealously for long though, she had finally gotten Lily outside and having fun. A success, she thought.

Feeling adventureous Lucy climbed onto of the tyre, so her feet were planted on her top and she stood up up straight with her hands tight around the rope. Gently she rocked her body so it swayed the swing and she laughed with delight.

Lily giggled as her sister swung the sing. Lily wasn't particuarly gracefull eather so had to hold on tight to the tier. She riggled round so she was sitting on the swing and smiled up at her sister.She pushed them with her legs getting mud on her shoes.

Jack smiled and nodded. The tape comparment just looked like a battery comparment at the bottom of the music box.He went out sidee and sat at one of the pick nick benches watching the girls happily but also protectively making sure they dont hurt themsleves.

As much as Lucy loved the feeling of the air pushing through her honey hair, standing atop the swing was making her dizzy, since she managed to simply spin the tyre rather than swing it.
Nimbly she jumped off, the force shook her a little bit but kept her balence, managing to make her stagger forward look deliberate. Like some sort of skip or dance.
She placed her hands on the warm balck, tar smelling tyre to steady it and asked or rather demanded.

"My turn to sit in the middle. You push."

She huffed and rolled her eyes "Fine "She said. As kids Lily would always push herself or there parents would but Lucy always wanted to be pushed. Once she was on Lily grabbed onto the tier and pulled it back and then ran fowered with it so it swung high into the air.

Jack looked a little worried and yelled. "Not to high girls ok"He said worred that they would hurt themselves. He smiled a little though he loved that fatherly feeling he gets when he worries about one of his new children.

Lucy squealled happily as Lilly pushed the swing hard and high, she completely ignored the onlooking Jack's warning and goaded Lily to keep pushing until at last she felt her stomach had lurched enough and begged her sister in giggles that she was ready to stop.

"Shall I push you now?" she asked as she climbed out of the tyre.

Violet ventured outside, looking for her husband. She spied the girls putting the old tyre swing to good use and then found Jack watching them from a bench. That was good of him, she sat down neatly beside him, leaning into his side.

"They look like they're having a good time?" she remarked, obviously pleased.

Lily smiled and nodded getting onto the swing. She hung on tightly as her sister pushed her and smiled

"Yep its nice to see them happy but I forgot how worring being a dad is"He laughed

"It can be." Violet answer laconically, reflecting on how whimsical it seemed that anyone could form an intimate attachment to a stranger so quickly, yet it had happened with all the children Violet and Jack had chosen to foster, so it seemed provided someone was willing and ready to give someone their love the boundary of unfamilarity was leave in the wind.

"It's worth it though." she continued with a bright smile, glad to have children in residence again, their happy sounds filling the air with life.

"I'm going to get dinner started." She informed him, standing to retreat back into the kitchen. She had planned to do a chicken roast since today was special day, that would give the girls a couple more hours to settle in before it she called everyone to the table.
