Lily took the hot chocolate and suprisenly mumbeled "Thanks" She sipped it quickly and relaxed feeling warmed up.

She sighed when she sat there thinking she was just going to go back to bed. "Kinda normaly eather no one comes down when I wander in the night or someone yells thats the only diffrents"She said

At least it sounded like a positive difference Violet thought but she was probably searching for a silver lineing.

"Shall I let you get back to bed?" Violet offered, again feeling the girl's non-commitive way of responding. She did look tired. And although Violet would have stayed up with the girl for the rest of the night if she had to, she still would have prefered to go back to bed herself.

Lily sighed she hated staying in a room when she was awake it was the only thing she liked abut being fostered it meant she could walk about when she woke up but she didnt want to hae to sit with her.

"I will go to bed soon You can go it's fine I will keep the noise down so you can selep"She said hoping it would mean she could stop being treated so nicly it made it hard to hate this woman

"Well if you're sure Lily." Violet said and picked herself slowly off the carpet. Their was saddness welling in soft brown eyes, she didn't understand what she could do to make Lily feel better and it hurt her. She just had to remind herself that infantism theropy was the answer and that she just needed to be patient until the hyponsis made Lily more suspitable to her mothering affection.

"If you get hungry then you are welcome to help yourself to whats in the fridge or if there is anything else just come and knock on our door okay? Good night Lily." she bide the girl again softly after draining and rising her her mug off in the sink. Then she climbed the stair again, leaving Lily to look after herself.
She did check once more on Lucy before retiring to her own room, the other twin was still fast asleep and looked peaceful. The pair had never seemed less alike.

Violet lay in bed staring up at the ceiling, keeping her ears out for any sounds for Lily below. Some pretty crazy thoughts were going through her head from the possibility Lily might accidently hurt herself to the girl deliberately running away. She felt like she was being a bad mother lying up her instead of being down their with the girl but it had been clear Lily was comfortable around her.

She reached around and felt for Jack's warm body, drawing herself and allowed herself to cry softly into her pillow until eventually she was able to fall back to sleep.

Lily sat down stairs for a few hourse. After a while she stood up and looked around. She wasn't going in any rooms but looked at all the pitures on the wall of kids they had fosters. Some teares welled up her eyes as she saw the happy family pitures she wanted her family backa dn she knew her sister wanted this family.

Jack woke up and could tell his wife had been crying it was now a resonable hour to wake up so worriedly he gentaly shock her. "Hunny whats wrong?"

Violet sleep had been shallow and she woke at just his touch alone. She lifted her head, her cheek feeling slightly sticky from the damp pillow, seeing the tanagble concern in his expression. It was that incredible caring empathy that she had fallen in love with when they first dated.

"It's Lily." she told him with a despairing sigh. "I couldn't get her to go back to bed last night. She's probably still down their now. I'll go and check on her..."

Violet began rising as the notion built in her thoughts, even though she was feeling drain and tired as if she hadn't slept at all.

"Aw hun dont worry it may just take her some time to seteal in." He said. He saw she was still really tiered He stood up and pulled her close "Hun go sit and relax on the sofa I will check on the girls and then make you a nice cup of coffee." He said and kissed her.

First he whent into the twins bed room. He saw Lucy was asleep so gentaly shoke her awake and whispered "Lucy sweetie time to get up rise and shine sleepy head"He said smiling. He sniffed a little though and sighed her bed was wet. He didnt want to lift her sheets he wanted to see if the tape worked and if she would tell him she was wet.

Lily was sitting curled up on the sofa hugging a pilow her eyes were puffy but she had stopped crying

Violet got dressed while her husband went to check on the girls, she didn't feel like dressing up much today so it was just pulled out an off white sweater and ankle length baige skirt, the pale colours set off ther cheastnut curls of her hair nicely.

Streaching as she cheacked her appreance in the mirror and yawning as she applied some foundation make the dark patches under her eyes less noticable, she realised she really didn't feel as bright or prepared for the day she ought to but smiled as she recalled feeling tried pretty much constantly was a naturally consequence of motherhood but there were plenty of pleasent expriences to be enjoyed with make up for it.

She headed downstairs both dissapointed (since the girl hadn't gone back to bed like she had promised) and glad (because she had run away like in violet's irrational fears.) Lily was still there.

"What would you like for breakfast this morning?"

As she woke at lot of things seemed to happen all at once.
For a start Lucy recoiled at the sight for Jack leaning over her bed, she remembered exactly who he was so it wasn't like waking up to find a creepy stranger there, but he was very almost a stranger and she definatly didn't feel comfortable with him that close, especailly since beneath the sheets she wasn't wearing anything more than a pair of panties and cotton shirt.
She turned her head instinctively to look for Lily but she wasn't there. Shit! She alone and their was a grown man leaning over bed, though already she could feel the shock of it wearing off and strangely starting to be okay with it. Which was what stopped her from swearing blindly at him.

The second thing which happened almost similatiously though was regestering in a different part of her brain was the fact she had wet the bed. Her face built a feirce heat as she felt the fear their being only a duvet between jack and her shameful deed.

The third thing that happened was a nights worth of hyponosis tape restructuring her thoughts as the embedded suggestions formed new bridges in her nueral network.

The ultimate result was frightened, embrassed teenager blurting out in a apolegetic tone,
"I wet the bed. I'm sorry."

Lucy would have physically clamed her hands to her mouth if she was concerned with anchouring down her duvet, she couldn't believe she had just said that.

Lily was curled up in an almost fetal posion. She still had the blanket around her which she was clutching tightly. She was feeling vunrabel and nerstalgic but oddly alot more comfortable in this home than she had in past.

"Just toast"She whispered in a just barley bearably sad tone.

As she woke up Jack saw he must have given her a little fright so stood up straight so he wasn't as close to her. When she blurted out she wet the bed he smiled sympathetically. She was clearly very very embarrassed by this. He put his hand gentaly on her shoulder and gave it a little squeez figuring any bigger gestures may scare her and said. "It's ok sweetie how about you go get washed up and I will handel these sheets." He said clamly not seeming to care she wet at all just seeming sympafetic for her

Lucy was in a daze, people were seldom so understanding about her problem, Jack had even kindly offered to wash her sheets for her and she felt obliged not to deny him.
She let allowed herself to peel off the covers, revealing the dark stain spread across her bedsheets, then got up and picked up the first clothes she saw. They were from yesterday, she had just dumped them on the floor after changing for bed.

She walked slowly as she left, then her dreamy state began to break and a stab of adreniline sent her bolting like a frightened rabbit for the safetyof the bathroom.
She stood breathing heavily as she fumbled with the lock.
What on other had she been thinking? She had just wondered out onto the landing in wet white T-shirt and lyliac panties. What if Lily or Violet had seen her?
Frustrated with herself she stripped out of her wet clothes and turned on the shower.

Downstairs Violet had put bread [BREAD not TOAST! it's so easy to make that mistake] into the toaster, she was currently reaching into the fridge for butter and marmalaide.

"What do you like on your toast Lily?"
