Twilight's Trepidation (Private)

[Liten]

"No Pinkie, I'm going to drink it, just as soon as it's cooled." Twilight told her.

"Oh." Pinkie was disappointed. But she was curious to see what would happen when Twilight drank it. "Is it cooled yet?" she asked. She reached out and touched the vial, retreating as it burned her hand. "Ouch." She waited five seconds before repeating the action. "Is it cooled yet?"

[Liten]

Twilight picked to potion up with her magic and brought it too her lips. "It should be cool now Pinkie." She drank the potion and set the bottle back down. "Now it should take just a couple seconds to take affect.

Now that things were finally getting interesting, Spike tried to pay more attention. Twilight had explained the spell to him before, but he wondered what it would look like.

"Uh, hold on," he said. "Twilight's about to turn into a dragon. Like, a full grown dragon. Do we have enough room in here?"

[Liten]

"I'm not going to turn into a full grown dragon, I'm not a full grown pony. I'm sure I'll fit Spi-" She cut off and held her stomach. Her skin seemed to ripple. "Twilight!" Fluttershy said, worried for her friend.

Pinkie adopted a dramatic pose, putting a hoof on her forehead for effect. "Oh Twilight! You should have let me test it first to make sure it was safe. Or Spike! Make him drink it, 'cause that's his job. Anything but this. Truly, Twilight, you died too young."

"She's probably fine," said Spike. "She did everything right. I've seen potions with worse side effects."

[Liten]

The potion was taking effect, Twilight's skin rippled and shimmered, like water having been disturbed then it began to glow brightly.

"Ooooh." Pinkie was even more fascinated this time. She acted like Twilight was a fun house mirror, watching the show of light.

Spike peered in the light, trying to make out Twilight's shape. Was it working? He couldn't tell.

[Liten]

Suddenly it glowed blindingly. Then as it disappeared a dragon around Spike's age and height, her scales were light purple, lavender. Her spiked scales running from her head to her tail were a pinkish purple color. She was unconscious on the floor of the library. "Oh my." Fluttershy said looking at Twilight as she got her sight back.

Pinkie gasped. "Spike!" she cried. "You never told me you were secretly a dwarf dragon!"

"I'm not," said Spike. "I think." He stood up, his green cloth diaper rustling a little. He stood over his caretaker. "Twilight? You okay? What happened?"
