"Well of course I don't have to," said Pinkie. "But you shouldn't have to clean your sheets either. Unless..."

"Oh, Fluttershy! You should have told me. I wouldn't have been upset. I would have understood perfectly. It's nothing to be ashamed of." She brought Fluttershy into a hug.

"I completely understand that you want me to sleep outside away from you and your sheets. And you're saying I don't need a diaper because I won't have a bed to wet."

Fluttershy was taken aback, she hadn't expected Pinkie to react this way. "Uh no Pinkie.. What I meant w-was, you don't have to wear diapers because you d-didn't wet the bed.." Fluttershy stammered out.

It took Pinkie a couple of seconds for everything to click correctly. And when it did, she gave a long, "Ooooooh... Why did you lie to me?" she then asked. She wasn't angry or hurt, just confused. But she realized right after she spoke that Fluttershy might not take it the way she meant it.

"I'm, i'm sorry Pinkie... It's just you were so quick to say you had done it and, and, I didn't want you to think less of me for it. I'm so sorry Pinkie.." Fluttershy said hurriedly tears forming in her eyes.

The last thing Pinkie wanted was for Fluttershy to cry, so she did her best to smile and reassure her friend. "I promise you I don't think less of you," she said. "Because ponies are different and it's okay that you wet the bed because you're still the nicest and sweetest pony in all of Ponyville." She patted Fluttershy on her head, and then she became stern.

"Are we clear on that, Fluttershy? I don't want you to blame yourself or think you aren't as amazing as we all know you are. We all love you no matter what, and I'm going to keep repeating that until you believe it."
