Twilight didn't like the terms much, but hay more books was always better! She quickly gave Cadancea big hug and took off back into the library to find more books to choose from. The library was much larger than the one she had in Ponyville, and was almost as big as the Royal Archives in Canterlot.

Sitting and watching Cadence smiled at how eager Twilight was. She always acted like a happy little filly when she got new books anyway. She would just have to make sure she choose all the books she'd told her rather than just history books.

And Cadance knew her all too well. Twilight had ignored what she had been told and was selecting nothing but informative texts. Nothing entertaining, nothing adventurous, just plain old history books and scripts. Though this was easily more entertaining to Twilight's mind.

Sighing, Cadence got up when she saw what Twilight was choosing. "Twilight." She said, her tone slightly warning. "I've told you twice now." She began to remove the books from Twilight's grip. "Please stop ignoring what I tell you."

Twilight just couldn't help herself. It was knowledge after all. She thirsted for knowledge all the time regardless of what it was. How was she supposed to relax if she couldn't learn! Cadance's scolding made her ears fold back, "I'm sorry... I can't help myself. I like learning."

Cadence put a hoof around Twilight. "Oh sweetie, I know you do. But you need to try and control it a little more. I did ask you to do something and you ignored it. That's not very nice now is it? You can read these, eventually, but for now I'm afraid you can only take two books now. I'll pick the others." She said, trying to sound in charge and gentle at the same time. She didn't want to be mean but Twilight really had to learn to not just ignore her when she wanted something.

Twilight picked her two books reluctantly, there was just so much she wanted to learn! She didn't know about a lot of the Crystal Empire since it had reemerged. With her two books she could have, she awaited Cadance's return.

Humming, Cadence looked through the newer area of the library. She found a few pictures books and a number of more childish story books. Giggling she found a book intended to teach little ponies to count. Well, Twilight did seem to need a better grasp on how many books she was told to take, Cadence thought with another giggle. Her selection chosen she went back to Twilight and ushered her out of the library. "Let's just take these back to your room."

Twilight kept the books she had chosen close to her, she had already lost many to Cadance's clearance. SHe didn't want to lose these as well. Curious about what Cadance had picked for her, she spoke up a bit, "So what exactly did you pick?"

Smiling slightly, Cadence showed her. "Oh, just a few things. Since you had so much trouble with the number of books I said you could get I thought 'How The Puppy Counted to Ten' might be useful." She giggled fiendishly.
