If anypony thought that Twilight couldn't get anymore excited than she already was, they would be proved wrong. "They do? Those are even cuter than the crystal sheep! The coats they have are supposed to be softer than any fabric we have in Equestria!" Twilight had obviously done her research.

Chuckling quietly to herself Cadence just pushed Twilight on. They were heading for the outskirts of the city where the petting zoo was. The midday business was going on around them, Crystal Ponies trotting to and fro. They were polite enough not to crowd the Princess although many waved and called greetings out to her.

Twilight enjoyed moving through the crowds of ponies. Her pacifier kept her mouth shut and she couldn't wait to get to the zoo.

They reached the petting zoo and through the fences the animals - most importantly the sheep and their lambs - were visible. Spending a moment insisting that she pay to the pony at the gate, who seemed scandalised that the Princess would even think of paying, Cadence couldn't help but giggle at Twilight's mounting excitement.

"Nearly there sweetie." She soothed, pushing the stroller in and heading for the sheep pen.

Twilight's excitement had gone from more of a mental state to a perfectly visible one as she was bouncing up and down in her stroller, anxious to play with the sheep and lambs she could now see. They were so much cuter than they were in the story books! She couldn't believe her eyes as she stared at them with excitement.

Getting Twilight out of the stroller Cadence led her into the pen. "Here, take this." She took some of the little pellets meant to feed the animals and gave it to Twilight before nudging her foreward. "Go on sweete, hold your hoof out with some of the food."

Twilight held most of the food above her with her magic, to make sure every little critter in the pen got his or her share. She pet one of the sheep first since they were right in front of her with the lambs being on the other side of the pen. "They're softer than I could have ever imagined!" She exclaimed at her sudden discovery.

One of the sheep licked Twilight's hoof as the little uncorn squealed and, following the smell of food, one of the lambs came over curiously. It sniffed and slowly approached Twilight.

"Don't move too fast sweetie, you'll scare the little lamb off." Cadence cautioned her.

Twilight kept her pacifier in to keep herself quiet. She wanted to keep the lamb close by, especially since their wool was supposed to be much soft than the older sheep. The lamb came closer to her, and finally started to eat out of her hoof.

Watching Twilight, Cadence smiled widely. This was just what the unicorn needed, a nice, enjoyable vacation. The lamb finished eating the pellets and decided to lick Twilight's cheeks, presumably in case she was hiding more there.
