Undyne soon came back and brought Asriel inside the throne room by the hand. Asgore was simply watering the flowers, humming to himself, before turning to Undyne. "So Undyne who was it you said wanted to see me-" Asgore turned and his face turned to shock as the watering can he holding dropped to the ground, his hand now trembling. He shakily walked over to the pair and dropped to his knees in front of them, tears in his eyes as he reached out to his son. "A-A-Asriel..? Is that really you..?" Asgore said as he felt his heart clench up at the sight of his son, his long dead son, standing right in front of him.

Asgore pulled his son into a tight hug as he began to cry, all of the pent up grief and self-hatred finally showing itself as he held the one thing that was taken from him too soon in his arms once more. Undine smiled at the tearful reunion and left the room, heading back to Frisk and the rest of the group as father and son reunite.
