"W-What?!?! Back to the HUMAN WORLD?!"

"Look, I will have no more interuptions, you're going back to the human world. It has been foreseen that there is a set pupil, you must help it. This is final."


[As quickly as that Satoshi was lunged into a swirling portal, he felt as though his insides were being ripped apart and he was being reborn...]

*Lands on his ass in the middle of a dark, dank, alley in a gloomy metropolis in the rain*

*Looks over to see a small childlike creature using a sheet of newspaper to take shelter*

The Higher Ups: There is your pupil now, you must take him under your wing and teach him our ways. Until then you may spend eternity in the human world.

Satoshi: Come on, that thing doesn't even look toilet trained!!









The Higher Ups: ...It isn't...

[Cardiac Arrest]

Delilah sat in the cold alley, attempting to wrap the old newspaper around herself. She was frightened more than ever before. There was nobody there to take care of her. She was alone, and being alone was not something she liked.
Her breathing slowed as she started to nod off, not knowing about the man who was examining her. She slowly closed her eyes, and tried to fall asleep. The rain wasn't much of a problem to her, but the cold was. She knew she would die soon if she couldn't find real shelter.

[Noir]

"Hey kid... "

*Delilah tried to ignore Satoshi*

"Look, you want my robe? It's warm~~"

[Cardiac Arrest]

Delilah shivered as Satoshi spoke. When he offered her his robe, she turned her head to him. She looked very malnourished, and she showed signs of sickness. She also looked to be in her early teens.
She moved her mouth to say something, but no words came out. It was like she couldn't speak at all. She looked back down, with a sad look in her bright green eyes.

[Noir]

(Note: Only Satoshi can hear the higher ups, it's like a telepathic thing. xD)

The Higher Ups: We've left in your robe 2000 American dollars to help cover expenses in food and shelter for the time being.

Satoshi: Yeah, thanks. >>;

"Uhmm, you look hungry. I was on my way to dinner, might you come along? Don't worry, I'll pay for your meal" , Satoshi said cheerily whilst wrapping the young girl with his robe to keep her warm.

[Cardiac Arrest]

Delilah looked back up at Satoshi, a thankful look in her eyes. Her stomach growled, adding to the signs that showed she was starving. She rubbed her stomach and blushed as it continued to growl from emptiness.

[Noir]

"Come child," Satoshi said while helping the small girl up, "We must eat and then seek shelter for the night."


"You know your way around this town more than I, so take us to a place you'd like to eat?"

[Cardiac Arrest]

Delilah nodded, and started walking out of the alley. She stumbled every so often, but she managed to lead them out. She did not speak the entire way to wherever she led. Eventually, they reached the outside of a small, Italian style restaurant. She smiled, and pointed at it while looking at Satoshi.

[Noir]

"You want to go there?? That's fine with me, I like Italian food. Hehe."

*They walked over to the resturant and waited to be seated, eventually a tall pale skinned waiter came to take them to an empty seat*

Waiter: Hello, and welcome to 'Rosa's'. ( Random I know. xDD)

Satoshi: Vorremmo un tavolo per due! :3 (Literally, 'We would like a table for two')

Waiter: Yes sir! :}D

[Cardiac Arrest]

Delilah walked with Satoshi to the table the waiter guided them to. When they were seated, she immediately picked up the menu and started looking at the selections. Her face lit up seeing all the delicous food. Her damp brown hair almost shined in the dim light of the restaurant.
