It was about twelve noon when the weekly package arrived at the Canterlot Castle. It was a very nice day out, with the air warm, the sun shining, and a cool breeze blowing through Equestria, the pegasi couldn't have done a better job. As always, Derpy Hooves was delivering the package (I'm not using her, just saying) to the Princesses. And as always, the royal signature. On this particular day, however, Princess Celestia's faithful student had decided to visit her, for no particular reason apart from that she hadn't been to Canterlot since the Royal Wedding, which had been six months earlier. As she was walking into the Royal Hall, she noticed Derpy and said, "Good morning, Derpy! Nice day, isn't it?" also giving her greeting to the Princess, where she was sitting in her normal spot, on the throne.

Derpy Hooves turned from her duty with the Princesses to acknowledge the lavender unicorn that called for her. "Oh, hi Twig...Twilight! Nice day!" She smiled, never being one to speak much. She had always been made fun of for the way she spoke. Still, she didn't want to seem like she didn't care. After her greeting, the gray pegasus turned back to the Princesses.

Luna, the Princess of the Night, sat next to her sister Celestia on their thrones. She looked slightly impatient. "Shall we get on with the signing of the paper?" she asked the mailmare, not really noticing Twilight. She eyed the package suspiciously, as if she didn't know what was in it, or didn't want anypony else to find out.

(Bro. Derpy's a pegasus). "Good morning, Twilight. Was there something you needed to talk to me about?" Princess Celestia asked. "Yes. I've noticed that Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash haven't been getting along… but before that, may I ask what's in the package?" Twilight said.

As she struggled with the signature, Luna's ears shot up. She quickly turned to Twilight. "Nope! Nothing here! Business, you know. Princess stuff." She looked agitated, quickly hoofing the signature paper back to Derpy half complete. Derpy took it and stuffed it in her bag. She then leaned down and picked the package up in her muzzle, not sure where they'd want it.

"It's nothing you need to know about, Twilight," Princess Celestia said, somewhat nervously. Twilight was taken aback. Neither of the princesses had ever lied to her (and she was sure they were lying, because of the nervousness in their voices). "But, what could be in the package that's so secret?" Twilight asked innocently.

Derpy resonated a muffled sound from behind the ropes that now traversed through her muzzle. She looked around, as if trying to find something. Luna looked to her once more. "Oh, just um...g-give it here. I'll hold onto it," she stated nervously.

Derpy smiled and happily started to trot to the Princess. About halfway there though, Derpy's hoof got in the way of another and, well, she tripped. Derpy will be Derpy. However, not all was well in the Canterlot Castle, for as she tripped, she dropped the package. Upon hitting the ground, the box burst open, spilling its contents across the main hall. Luna's jaw dropped. Before them all was a pile of about sixteen thickly padded diapers, with colors representing what appeared to be light and dark, or the sun and the moon.

Twilight watched this whole thing go down and her jaw also dropped. "Princess, I don't... what... I... uh?" she said, utterly confused. "Why was there diapers in that package? That was supposed to be ink and parchment!" Celestia said, somehow maintaining what little composure she had left.

Derpy's ears shot up at Celestia's complaint. Had she messed up a delivery again? Derpy promptly checked the address on the box, as well as any other delivery indicators. Everything seemed just fine! The gray pegasus looked back up to see what else the Princesses had to say.

Luna was awestruck, not moving in the slightest, her eyes fixated on the diapers. Quickly though, she shook her head frantically. "Y-yeah, um, these aren't ours...we needed...i-ink," she stuttered.

Derpy glanced back down to inspect the leaked contents. "These have designs like the marshmallow and the potato," she said as she examined the diapers' designs more closely, matching them up with each respective Princess they appeared to be designed after.

Twilight picked up one of the diapers with her magic, inspecting it closely. It was very large and very thick, with a white and yellow design on the sides and a gilded golden sun on the center and front. The other kind was navy blue and black with a half moon design, and smaller than the first. Meanwhile, Celly had no plan in mind and considered directly telling Twilight, but Derpy was there and it looked as though she might be there for a while.

Derpy almost half-mindedly took one of each diaper design and flew over to the Princesses, lifting one up to each of their matching cutie marks. "Same," was all she said. Luna just leaned away from the curious pegasus, not sure what to do.
