X-Men based rp
Re-posting with more ideas added, PM/VM me if interested:
I'm really interested in doing an X-Men rp, particularly one's involving Gambit, Storm, Wolverine, Cyclops and maybe Nightcrawler. I don't care about what universe or continuity we use, it can be a happy mix of everything for all I care--all I'm after is good grammar, content within posts as well as a real attempt to get into the character's heads.
Here's a few ideas to start out with, but I'm happy to hear any tweaks or other ideas you might have.
--#1 Featuring: Storm, Gambit (Alternatively/additionally Wolverine and Gambit!)
Remy LeBeau has always been a bit of a wildcard; expert thief and gambler by nature, this is a boy who's not happy unless the stakes are stacked high...but even a careful gambler can get tripped up on the go.
Enter Ororo Munroe: Weather goddess and reformed thief herself, who see's right through Remy's antics as to what they are; an irresponsible boy in need of a little extra attention.
(Additionally/alternatively: Logan steps in to discipline the boy.)
--#2 Featuring: Cyclops, Wolverine,
They're alike, Scott and Logan, more-so than they'd ever care to admit. Experienced leaders, great combatants, by right these two should have hit it off from day one.
There's just one problem: Where Scott see's a savage old hot-head, Logan see's a petulant, bratty child.
After one particularly bad argument, Wolverine finds that it might be time to bring Cyclops down a peg or two.
--#3 Featuring: Nightcrawler and Wolverine (Alternatively: Storm and Nightcrawler)
All his life, Kurt's only ever known parenting from a distance. At the circus, he'd watch as kids flocked to their parents for protection from his 'gruesome' face and wonder if perhaps he was truly unlovable? Such feels, of course, he'd thought he'd been able to stow...until his biological mother, Mystique, wandered back onto the scene.
And even then, Mystique had only ever wanted to know his sister Rogue; Rogue, Rogue, Rogue always Rogue. After the umpteenth time of hearing Kurt lament this over a beer, Logan decides it's finally time to resolve this issue once and for all.
--#4 Featuring: Gambit and Rogue.
Follows the events of Mr and Mrs X from the mainline comics:
"He's got babies on the brain!" Rogue would often tease, but considering how often she finds herself indulging Gambit at his most childish, maybe that's not quite the case?
After a particularly sulky encounter with her beloved beau, Rogue wonders if Remy could do with a little strategic 'pampering.'
