X-Men: Jubilee and Laura’s Padding Problem (For YkIh and Bandit Keith)

Laura blushed at that, she had been told by Jubilee it was normal to reference things such as that in conversations, but she hadn’t expected to be called out on it in such a way, “I remember it from that episode, you told me making ‘pop culture references’ in conversations is a good way to ease the tension, and I thought I would try do that as you said.” She admitted, knowing her photographic memory it made sense she would be able to remember everything she heard, even from the shows Jubilee sat her down to watch without caring much about them.

Ororo seemed to brighten up from her slightly sour mood quickly upon hearing Jubilee’s slip-up, “Oh dear you sound like Laura, you know it’s okay to call me your mother right? I want you to do it just as much as you want to do it. So don’t feel ashamed.” She lectured, knowing Jubilee well enough to know what she wanted. Still the weather goddess wasn’t about to let Jubilee mope around the way she was. She unstrapped the girl from her car seat and pulled her into a tight hug, kissing her forehead, “Honeybun you could never hurt me, I love you far too much, I’ve made mistakes that have hurt you before too, you know that right? It’s part of caring about someone, everyone makes mistakes, so don’t feel bad okay?” She asked, carrying the young mutant over to her seat in the pram and strapping her in, doubting the girl would mind this mode of transport.

Ororo couldn’t help but smile at that, while it caught her off guard she was more than willing to help, “Of course dear, let’s go.” She soothed, unstrapping the girl and scooping her into her arms, no doubt to Laura’s frustration.


Laura let out a surprisingly fierce growl at Emma’s phrasing, feeling more energetic than she had been recently, possibly due to her distance from the institute and Jean, and looked ready to retort to Emma violently for her phrasing. Before the girl could get a word out though she deflated at Emma’s reasoning behind the name. “I… Suppose that is fair.” She admitted, surprisingly agreeing to the terms for a plethora of reasons, for one it was better than being called a baby, toddler or kitten, for another the clone was very institutional due to her upbringing, and if the system considered her a child she was inclined to agree, the third reason was that she seemed to relax somewhat once she was scooped into Emma’s arms, finding the White Queen’s presence very soothing.

Laura seemed to genuinely consider both options, knowing at this point she wouldn’t be granted the option of just walking despite everything she was and had done in her life. Both options were no doubt embarrassing, but with one she could atleast cuddle with Jubilee, “The pram then, it still sucks but it is the better option.” She admitted, having picked up the word from Jubilee again. She turned to see Ororo strapping Jubilee in, knowing the firecracker would feel just as better being carried as she would be cuddling with Laura.

Jubilee actually looked up at Ororo in surprise as with herself in control unlike earlier on her emontions she even cocked her head like a dog almost'' But you have a child already and you got to a near mental wreck when the shadow king nearly took him'' Jubilee was not trying to bring up painful mermories just explain her surprise and shock'' How can I be allowed to and want to if you have a boy about my age already? Wouldn't he not take kindly too that?'' Jubilee stated not upset but showing her logic'' He'd see me as a invader I bet they always did'' Jubilee stated letting her darkness take hold at that as her aura went abit darker then usual

''And so what if its only natural to make such hurtful mistakes? I still hate hurting others as I know the pain personally ..'' Jubilee ironically was having one of her darker moments in the right place to handle it in fact as the details would be fresh to talk about in the therapy session with Ororo in the same room as odds are Ororo will atleast need to translate Jubilee speech to English

Still when she was strapped in with Laura she was near instantly cuddling with Laura even putting her head to Lauras neck without warning as Lauras scent is comforting and despite no longer being a vamp abit nibbling on ones neck does help her get herself in check .. herself not realizing how sexaul that can be viewed as thus odds are Laura hasn't learned that unless her past dealt with that too...

Emma actually smiled '' fierce like a angry cat that is good '' Emma offered as she held Laura at arms reach before Laura calmed herself and agreed to the term and decided on the pram still Emma though eyed Ororo'' So is that her vampiette instincts calming her or is that something else you know '' Emma moved her fingers into a heart shape to get the message across encase Jubilee and Laura are that innocent to not realize that is a form of intense love and desire .. and for atleast Jubilee if not both girls Jubilee doesn't know the none innocent factor to it obviously

Ororo couldn’t help but chuckle softly at Jubilee’s doubt and questioning regarding the state of her child, “Trust me dear, he won’t mind, believe it or not he’s actually something of a fan of yours.” She explained, knowing her child was much more independent these days, he certainly wouldn’t mind if he had a little sister to visit on the off days when he decided to visit his mother.

The weather goddesses expression turned from cheery and amused to slightly mournful upon hearing that, thinking about the pain the four of them had experienced in their lives was enough to make anyone shiver. “Pain… Is a part of life honeybun, everyone has to go through it, and occasionally you may end up inflicting it on someone else accidentally, there’s very little that can be done to stop that.” She lectured, hoping to soothe the spiralling ex-vampirette, adopting her regular motherly tone of voice. “The best thing you can do is apologise and make it clear it wasn’t intentional when you do hurt someone.”

Laura meanwhile was still pouting as she was sat down and strapped into the pram, and things only got worse at first as she yelped and blushed at the way Jubilee nuzzled her, “J-Jubilee what are you- Ah!” She cried, the sudden nibble sending tingles throughout her entire body and causing her to let out a shrill cry. She only glared at Emma for her mild mocking and amusement, or atleast what she thought was that. “Jerk.” She grumbled and looked down. Thankfully she seemed oblivious to what Emma symbolised with her gesturing, while she would understand the activity and meaning itself she was simply too inexperienced to know what the gesture meant, causing her to tilt her head curiously.

Ororo just shook her head with a chuckle at the duo’s typical behaviour at this point, “I suppose that is most likely it, perhaps a combination of both?” She suggested as they made their way to the office where the girl’s therapy would take place.

Jubilee wasn't sure she believed Ororo but she is willing to trust her '' Kay.. I hope you are right but I hope to be called little sister or baby sister .. Oh or better yet something befitting the culture.'' Jubilee while in her darker state offered as she would be rather joyful if she got a nickname or a secondary name fitting of the so called 'Dark Continent' As Africa used to be commonly called for how little most knew and Jubilee still likes to refer to it as that as to her it just sounds far cooler and interesting plus all the mysteries that it holds for even heroes in places .. She still was upset but the idea of further expanding her makeshift family in this way somewhat cheered up up .. unaware she is just making what will happen soon enough far easy for them all

That soon adoption and becoming a real full blown family together she did miss what the two adults was saying though as Jubilee needed this neck nibbling to calm down '' Sorry if I hurt you Laura .. I really needed that to help my mood from entering darkness '' Jubilee offered thinking the cry of 'ah' meant she hit a soft and sore spot on Laura

''Ah thats adorable '' Emma offered in Ororo's mind how clueless Jubilee was to the emontional spike of joy and pleasure Jubilee caused Laura ''You know of Jubilee not aware she made Laura cry out in a pleasurable sensation and seemingly innocence use of that method'' Emma offered again in a mental message as the together pushed the pram in and sat in the waiting room which in about 5 minutes the adults will part to go with the little ones they deem as their own

Ororo just smiled, happy that Jubilee was beginning to understand her own importance to Ororo and that the firecracker wouldn’t just be tossed to the wayside when she wasn’t needed anymore as she had been before in her life, “I’m never going to leave you Jubilation, you can trust me on that.” The woman soothed, identifying that her fear of abandonment was one of Jubilee’s main reasons for her behaviour, at times the woman had considered becoming a therapist herself with how easy she read people she knew, but the weather goddess as always decided she preferred to help people in a more active and in the moment way. “We’ll I suppose we’ll just have to wait until he visits to see honeybun.” Storm responded, looking cheerful, “Although I should warn you it may be a very long time before you get to meet him, he doesn’t visit often.” The woman explained with a slightly sadder smile on her face.

Laura just blushed and looked away at the firecracker’s apology, even she was aware of the actual reason for why she reacted the way she did to the biting, and was just as shocked as the adults by Jubilee’s lack of understanding. “Right… apology accepted.” The girl mumbled, leaning into Jubilee and closing her eyes to take a short nap and mentally prepare herself for her therapy,

Ororo couldn’t help but chuckle at Emma’s joke, walking closer to the woman pushing the pram and slipping one hand into the telepath’s, “I don’t think you need your powers Emma, the girls have the selective hearing of infants, and are drifting off anyway.” She spoke in a hushed tone.

''Can .. can I nibble your neck when I need to again or is that too much to ask?'' Jubilee was trying to pull herself further together but she clearly has never really asked something like this before and taken a major step and risk letting the shielding of her heart fall for now to ask .. Even someone as socially lacking as Laura would know this on Jubilee its a big thing and if told no a very well put together reason would need stated or its possible Jubilee would revert worse then she was prior to opening up to Laura early on

''Ah Jubilation seems to as always be full of energy and fighting sleep though ''Emma offered as she squeezed to some a weather Goddesses hand like a dating couple might on a date'' You know I can't deny a head doctors place of pratice is my idea location to have a date and if we watched movies ones dealing with the mind are often my preference a shame most of those are horror or thrillers .. with very few just thought provoking '' Emma decided it seems to be upfront with ororo and indirectly ask if Ororo would desire a date

Still after afew minutes a woman was looking at a schedule '' Why did she need to call in sick '' the woman stated in a thick german accent feeling abit uncomfortable ''Dr. Lipschitz.. Er I mean myself will be seeing ''Checking the schedule on the clipboard ''Jubilation Lee and her caretaker Ororo Munroe.. '' Surely Ororo would see the irony here of a German head doctor being one of the best given the stereotype as a whole of German and Swedish doctors being some of the best around

Laura evidently wasn’t too sure what to think, having of course known Jubilee long enough to be able to identify how much this meant to her immediately the younger girl felt it wrong to deny such a thing, “I suppose, it doesn’t hurt much, and I heal if it were to injure me anyway. Just… Can you warn me the next time you do it or need to do it in the future?” She requested with a slightly nervous look, having been bitten so unexpectedly had shocks Laura much more than she would willingly admit, causing her to have a small accident in her diaper in pure shock.


Ororo couldn’t help but chuckle at Emma’s actions and behaviours, although there was nothing cruel about it, she just simply enjoyed seeing the normally blunt and honest White Queen acting like this, whether it was out of nervousness or simply because she wanted to take things slow with Ororo the weather goddess didn’t know, but she still held the telepath’s hand just as tightly, giving it a few squeezes of her own, “Well if that’s the case maybe we could do something like that on the future? I don’t suppose you have any specific thoughts or plans?” She asked, matching Emma’s coyness before turning her attention to the doctors and smiling as they approached, putting on her formal and polite expression. “Hello there, that would be me and this little one.” She replied to the doctor, unstrapping the Firecracker and scooping her into her arms for the doctor to get a closer look at. While the weather goddess of course noticed the stereotype in action she chose not to bring it up, knowing better than to discuss something some would consider personal with someone she had just met.

Approaching just behind Dr. Lipschitz was another woman, this woman seemed a lot more polished and formal than the other more casual and approachable doctor, although whether this would help Laura or not was up for debate, although this wouldn’t last long as the woman seemed to completely drop the facade upon noticing the clone, “Ah! This little one must be Laura, how cute!” She practically squee’d, evidently showing off her nature when it came to helping with children, “My name is Dr. Risman, I’ll be your therapist for you and I presume Emma?” She asked, turning her attention to the White Queen and turning slightly more guarded, evidently the woman had a slightly different demeanour around adults, and was new enough to not recognise the familiar face around the institute of Emma.

''I'll warn you .. thank you'' Jubilee stated having ignored the therapist and talk focusing on Laura as she hugged her though when her hand brushed against Lauras padding a idea struck her'' I'll make it up to you.. with something fun. promise'' Jubilee stated though when she was scooped up she actually flailed about before realizing it was Ororo

'' Don't do that mommy.. I thought you was a baddie or the funny men in clean white coats to take me away to the funny farm'' Jubilee whined to half tired and surprised to caught the term of adress.. still Ororo might not know slong or the details but odds are she got the ideal from the displeased look of both therapists on the Funny Farm phrasing though Jubilee when addressed as cute narrowed her eyes and went to bite Dr. Lipschitz hand when the woman tried to calm her with a stroke to the hair

'' We do not use that phrasing here it is rather demeaning for some of the patients in such a place as a mental hospital '' Dr. Lipschitz offered before letting herself soften'' I must confess she is rather cute '' putting her hand out to try stroking the seemingly upset girls hear resulted in a bitten hand and pulled back after'' Feisty too.. Does she have a fear or something against therapists ?'' Dr. Lipschitz asked ignoring the surely to form teeth marks via bruises on one hand '' And ma'am if I may be so bold to ask you some questions in my office ?''

''Ah a new one well this was short notice.. I do hope you are quite prepared one destaster would be too much '' Emma stated as she went to get Laura picked up'' And yes I am Emma Frost.. To be honest Dr Risman.. I desire to know if you have dealt with heroes and villains trying to reform before I even allow Laura any time with you ''Emma stated as she was not expecting a new one she hadn't known anything about ''It matters given rarely does anyone never dealt with that can handle hearing what Laura or similar cases have had happen and the mountain of mental troubles.. and given one trouble I won't risk it'' Emma stated serious '' No names required just a yes or no will do''

Laura just gave Jubilee a small smile both in gratitude and acceptance of the girl’s comment, happy to be able to help her friend, not realising that both girls always did help each other just by being around. The clone felt a small blush as her padding was played with somewhat, but was more cautiously curious as to what Jubilee was planning to do to help make it up to Laura. The girl couldn’t help but let out a small uncharacteristic giggle at Jubilee’s reaction to being picked up so suddenly though, used to her being the one cute and teased it was a welcome change of pace for the girl.

Ororo smiled softly and brushed the girl’s hair again at that, more than happy to comfort the firecracker. “I’ll warn you too then next time honeybun, these people are here to help, but even if they weren’t I wouldn’t let anything happen to you, so don’t worry dear.” She explained in a cooing voice. Thankfully the weather goddess quickly noticed the younger mutants feels side coming out and pulled her away by the back of the neck before she could bite the good doctor any more than she already had and causing some actual damage to her hand, “Jubilee! That was very bad! Apologise immediately, both for biting and for such an indecent term and treatment of someone trying to help!” She demanded, giving the girl a swat on the rear. “Sorry about her, yes she has had some rough experiences with medical facilities in the past, even if it wasn’t truly the doctor’s fault she still tends to avoid them like a wild fire, but of course, feel free.” She responded, gesturing for the woman to lead the way to her office.


Thankfully Doctor Risman seemed entirely prepared for the scenario, “Don’t worry, I have plenty of experience under my belt, I worked for SHIELD and even some more heinous companies that I’d rather not talk about before I came here, I can assure you I’m well prepared for anything this little cutie throws at me.” She said, trying to give Laura a reassuring pat on the head, only to be met by the clone shying away from the touches and cuddling close to Emma, who she had originally been scared to have been picked up by, “You worked for SHIELD?” The young girl asked, a fearful and nervous expression as the girl hadn’t exactly had good experiences with them in the past. “I know who you are Miss Frost, I can assure you I know who you are, no offence intended of course but you’re something of a celebrity, as is Laura, Miss Munroe and Miss Lee, especially around these parts.” She assured, making it clear she had done her research, “As I stated previously I know what I’m doing, now if you’ll follow me.” She asked, turning around and walking towards her office and not even waiting for a response, showing a surprising lack of fear around the powerful White Queen.

''As expected and please do not get onto her too harshly as if its deeply rooted such things won't help and may make things worse if not the fear for those in the medical feilds and the art of the mind'' Lipschitz cast her glance to Emma to get the message through what was mind on the last one'' then the relation of you and her might be damaged far more then you would assume '' Lipschitz was being serious and professional as she let the two to her office

''So the best is to be gentle and slowly get her to see such people can be trusted and correct as nicely as can '' Lipschitz offered as they made it to her office a gentle calming place with plenty of stuffed toys and soft but far more durable and easy to clean toys which Jubilee took a interest in wishing to tone as much out as possible .. though their is also plants at all 4 corners of the room real ones at that '' Now what can you tell me about Jubilation and yourself and what your two's bond is ? ''It was asked to start with as to best help Jubilee first and possible give advise to Ororo in how to help when enough detail is given to assert what would be best done and Jubilees state of mind

''SHIELD ?!'' Emma had a rather worried exclamation released then as that place has a penitent for following lows to a T and killing those labeled as a threat or risk and Laura is seen as borderline and plenty of her students are on shields watch list ''Its alright Laura the moment I sense any thought that puts you even in a remotely risk I will have you safely out of here even if I have to get my hands dirty'' Emma assured as if this Celeberity sort is what she thinks its known she has blood on her hands to protect others though one case is while try not fully correct she had her one sister cloned and mind put in but scambled to protect students it might be crualer in some folks mind but it prevents full on murder in this case from a technical sense

Jubilee buried her head in Ororo's check in worry and needing comfort yet she raised her head up to look at Ororo when told to Apologize and she shook her head grabbing Ororo's top in her hands tightly'' But I'm not sorry and I had too many try that comfort trick then stick me with something or give me something that knocks me out then then baddies are mistreating me it it was instinct full instinct both learned and natural at this point'' Jubilee stated clearly not making excuses just being honest'' Sorry I can't Mo--err Ororo I can't please don't be upset I can't help it right now.'' Jubilee stated in a sad tone of almost a child begging way right when at the door though her eyes caught the toys and was interested unaware the reason they are of ips she loves well enough patiants had talked about Jubilee helding them somethings is known about her among the staff
